5 and 7 are amazing I initially thought by celestial companion you meant the moon, as its supposed to be a companion to the nocturnal spirit in folklore and older poetry (among of course its female, mystical and magical aspects).
Very good stuff as always

#5 I am not surprised - it sounds like a nerve-jangling thing to have to listen too.
#6 I like the humour and I am glad that you didn't actually fall!
#7 I like the contemplative nature of this one. Communing with the stars is a wonderful thing.

As much as I love the visual & emotion of #3, #4's been my favorite – perhaps because I relate oh so well. I also relate, a little too well, to #5 but ohhh.. today's.. I find myself responding to #7 as an invitation to do the same for it has indeed been too long.

The wind is out and you are safely in - a soothing lullaby - like it.

Yeah...I have some days where I enjoy the nights, but others I'd rather have longer sunshine.

The third one is surprisingly romantic, nice. I would separate the numbers from the haiku, it is a bit distracting. Good beginning!

With your explanation in mind, #3 is like an epic love story in miniature; the cold wind in the last line suggests that danger may lie ahead for them - the story is not over.

3. My vote is on this one, the description you give it really gives the poem a lot more meaning than I got from it at face value. Of course I'm a traditionalist (duhhh!) and think prefaces to haiku/tanka make them winners so yeah. As a whole, description and poem, this one's a winner. Dingdingding!

That last one is a snow-melter all it's own.
Wonderful.
I think I'll save my faving for when you have them all, but don't think that I'm not reading and loving. Fabulous, darling.

It's nice to know there are places where the winter is not as harsh. We are in the midst of a snow storm here. The biggest we have had so far this winter.

we have had snow in pennsylvania on and off. then ice. then more snow.

This is funny as an introduction because it almost works as a disclaimer ("Winter's not very noticeable in here, apologizes! )
I'm curious about what other Winter imagery you will be bringing to these haikus

haha, there's no real winter here in the middle of the ocean until you get used to the constant 75-80 range and then 72 feels like icicles will run from your nose. XD
