Description
I really try not to photograph the same place twice in a week, but the skies rolled in finally after a few days of bland blue sky. The clouds came in so fast I was convinced it was just going to rain and I would get soaked. There I was, once again, in a position to scramble like an egg to find a comp when the light just exploded. I was almost back to the trailhead when I noticed this prickly pear cactus out of the corner of my eye and then the light over the mountains. I ran to the cactus getting my fair share of battle wounds and hitchhikers attached to my legs and set the tripod up quickly before the light faded. After I clicked the shutter and saw the result I decided that was it. I turned around only to find another amazing light display which I frantically ran around looking for a good foreground subject. I got something, but don't know how I feel on it. This was the shot of the day, and I left with a happy heart. Just to point out once again, this is really what this scene looked like, straight out of the camera with the raw processing. Another lesson in looking for a decent comp with little time.Prickly pear and mcdowell mountains- Arizona

I don't know about other people, but I like to know the EXIF when I see a photo.

I understand, when I prep my photos for the web however the EXIF data is removed from the post automatically.

It depends on your settings when you SAVE or SAVE AS your file, there should be an option like "keep EXIF properties".

Yeah, I always save for web when posting here and save as for print's. I guess I never really bothered with setting the option to keep the EXIF data.
