Description
Fall colors line the west fork of oak creek canyon. I am always reminded of the narrows and subway in Zion National Park when I hike this trail. Having to wade in the chilly waters made it seem worthwhile as many choose to stop far before this long pool.West fork oak creek canyon- Arizona.

I was actually wondering if this was the Narrows at first glance. That's one of my favorite hiking trails ever... though I guess if I get out toward Arizona again, maybe I should look this one up.

This is definitely worth checking out if your in the area. Fall is the best time to do it, but late spring brings lots of wildflowers along the trail that also make for some great scenery.

This is a beautiful shot. What I like in particular is the ambiguity in the water part: what I mean is that there is a really interesting balance of transparency and reflection. It is gorgeous!
