this is obviously a beautiful model, with clean lines and a balanced style. as a bulletless design, i find it elegant, and also refined. the trigger mechanism, unlioke many futuristic designs, is practical and realistic. with a slightly refined power, this would be a fantastic idea. the problem i think with the power is this: it is possible, albeit slightly, to catch on it by either accident or deliberate action, and activate the switch. making this a more ergonomic shape would prevent this from becoming a problem, as has happened in the past. for example: Hk MP5 concept weapon had a less favouable safety catch, which, if cought on the wrist of the firer could cause the weapon to go off unintended. overall, a lovely design. yet again, peter, i envy you.

no problem. used all kinds of guns myself, and know how they work. any advice i can give is always freely given. might be best to place that switch inside the handgrip, in that way, the only way the weapon can be activated is when it is in the hand? then turn the power switch you had into a safety toggle...

Peterku, when i see ur creations, i always think in the character thats gonna use it: some bandit, some heroe, a guard or a prince or princess in the future... love ur work!. This model for me need something else, like it was stuck in a vintage time: the silver color give smooth and modern tone, but in the handgrip, that dark square cut the smooth of the gun. Dont take me wrong maybe im a gray guy. I`ve always had admiration for the Manta, Elah and Shax, and rough one, the energy handgun...
Dude, please keep imagining this ideas because ur creations make me dream and thinking in people, worlds or galaxies.
I`ve always had curiosity about how can u give ur vision of Vash the Stampede handgun: is a retro handgun but maybe u could fixed it and make the handgun more organic (like manta).
Waiting 4 ur updates!

Recommendation: Round the grip. It might make more realistic..

I like it. It looks sleek like modern day firearms, yet it isn't small or black like typical weapons, yet it is bulky enough to look somewhat like the M1911, yet, it is sleek where it looks like a tase somewhat, if tasers shot bullet like munitions. I agree with bobbymeep, you are quite a good 3D artist, yet I know it isn't just because of your programs. To make something look good in 3D rendering, you need to design it and apply details, while also keeping the overall appearance and the measurments accurate. It is harder than you give yourself credit for. I used programs that did 3D rendering on homes, appliances, or smaller stuff that you could construct (using metal, wood, fibers, plastics, etc...).
True, there are better artist out there, just like there are better authors than me out there, but as for your work, you are still one of the better ones out there. I tried to find more, and the longer I searched, the longer my search began to yield worse and worse pieces, so yes, you are one of the better artist out there. So just as bobby said, you are one of my favorite 3D artist as well.

Again, i think its technically very perfectly done. But the simple shape also takes a bit of it´s glimmer. I like a bit more details, functional or not, and a bit more heavy appereance, so that you feel the recoil when you watch the gun. Pack a scifi-grenadelauncher under the barrel and i´m happy xD No, you now what i mean.
But for a scifi remake it absolutly catches the feeling of a 1911´er - this job is perfectly done^^

Impressive! Sleek, streamlined, and ergonomic!
I know I love my guns, but I tend to shy away from energy weapons. However, this one is an exception, what a fantastic reimagining of an old classic handgun!

You really modernized a future weapon 8D at first look you would believe that it's a normal handgun. The colors are very usual but is not a bad thing o.o They certainly look like ''ordinary energy weapons'' ^^
There is not really anything to complain about if you were looking for the ''ordinary'' look. Otherwise would say that they are a bit plain.
And you got me curious about the possible customizing of these pieces o.o like stun-mode, somekind of flashlight with possible power-up.
And I see a clip but it's an energy cell I presume o.o single energy cell or ''bullet batteries'' you know, single shot lil bullet like batteries 8D

It's sleek lines would be great for a sci-fi setting, but personally I'd move the power button and perhaps taper the front of the trigger guard, so it flows over even more smoothly.
