Description
For Windows XP SP3 only.Net.frameworks needed.
This is probably the most complete and most similar transformation from Windows XP to Windows8 you can find in the web.
This deviation contains:
Bootscreen
Visual Style
BorderSkin for Win8 borders
3 different Styler toolbars for explorer
Shell32.dll
Rightside shellstyle(optional)
Startmenu(optional) if you need one.
Systemproperties
Appearance screen
Charmsbar
Wallpapers
Sounds
Cursors
Fonts
Links to a lot of other stuff

I can't figure out why when I use the borderskin as directed, the title text is not centered (It almost is 3/4 in the title bar instead of in the middle). In addition, the minimize, close, and maximize buttons have the very top border cut off not matching the rest of the window.

The problem with centering of the text is a known bug of BorderSkin. Depending on the size of the window it matches or not. This happens because the text is static fixed to the edge of the window. It was on the to do list of the developer, but it seems the project is discontinued for any reason.
The buttons look like the real ones of build 9200. No clue why MS made it that way.

There is nothing resource taking except of Rocketdock, which is not really important. I personally nearly don't use it.

If you are starting with a complete original XP, this are more than 400 files. I think you don't really want a list.
If you want to complete an already existing transformation, download this stuff and integrate it in your CD.

This is the default Win8 power button. Work of a few minutes to replace it. Only it needs a while to uipload such a big file to DA

It is displayed with BorderSkin. You can also open your msstyle and modify three bitmaps: Statusbarbackground, Statusbar pane and resize gripper.

i keep getting an error message about shell32.dll messing up somthing to do with user32.dll when i log on.
It seems not to be affecting my PC use but error messages annoy me :L
any idea why this is?
Also the rest of the pack is great, although i don't use the styler toolbar

In theory i know this problem, as well as i never faced it. The reason is that the file size of the shell32.dll is bigger than the default one (More and bigger bitmaps and AVIs).So on a small percentage of computers it causes this problem. The system tries to adress an area of your RAM for the shell32 which is reserved for your user32.dll.
A possible fix could be to replace the AVIs with smaller ones to decrease the size of the shell32.dll. I cannot reproduce this prob, so i cannot try it.

It cannot overlap the desktop because there is none. You have to set the taskbar to automatically fade out to use it.
