I think it's good as it is. Btw. the textbox is the origianal one. I only made it higher.

But the text box looks more alike in xp version. It's edges aren't rounded

These are two complete different things. The XP textbox is a bitmap. The Win7 textbox is code based and can probably be changed in the UI file.If i have the time i will look on it.

Unfortunately it is like Windows8 looks. I'm not really glad about all this Metro stuff. And i'm sure, i'm not the only one.
I never used Linux, so i can't compare it.

I think Metro is cool... but not as the ENTIRE user interface. I think it would be great as a program feature, or UI feature that you could enable or disable.
I think Metro will work great and look nice on touchscreens (tablets and phones), but I read a report that 95%+ of the desktop computers that are Metro-enabled are not touchscreens... so... meh.

I would probably like to use it on a tablet. Only i dislike it to be forced to use it on my desktop.And i also dislike it that nearly all apps on the startscreen can only be used if you are logged in with a MS account.They want to have total control of their users and force them to use what they want them to use. I think i will keep my Win7 some more years.

This file contains the version info. If you don't replace it, your logonscreen still shows Windows7 Home or whatever you use.
