Maybe squaring the two bottom corners or integrating the start menu as an extension of the taskbar rather than sitting on top of it would look pretty cool. As it stands, a very good concept.

mmm why not? I think I have already seen a lot of themes wich use a rounded user image box...
However, if it's really not possible, you could remove the user image box! I'am sure that it will be nice anyway
