Thanks though they are trying to teach us realism drawing at ARU, which makes sense as they are more of a fine art school and they teach us how to use acrylics and such later which will be great as I have never known how to use them properly.

I have always loved cartoony style though having some realism in there as well will be interesting to see.

It sure does though they have no idea about digital, which is a good thing that I am learning from ctrlpaint.

Yeah, when I was at school they never taught digital art though I never knew of digital art back then

Have you ever seen A Turtels tail, Sammys adventure? I just watched it with my mum and it was one of the sweetest films I have ever seen! Strongly recommend it and the animations was amazing!

Digital is good and has its place though traditional is very useful too as it teaches you the fundamentals.

I have not seen that movie though I should at some point. I have ordered the animated film entitled, The Illusionist. My friend at uni recommended it and from the youtube trailer it looks awesome!

I have watched the Illusionist film and it is good though there is little in the way of dialogue in it. Style wise it is neither like Disney or Anime but something else.
