Wow, this is really cool! I've always wanted to make decorations like this but the only thing I've heard of using before is fondant. I don't like fondant, and I love marshmallows, so this is exciting. I'll have to try this!
and I think the english equivalent for mompariglia may be sprinkles? [link] are these the same as what you have?

Uh uuh, good luck so! Even if they are practically uneatable because of the lot of sugar, lol. But if you work the paste enough, it turns like fimo, so it's ok

Allora, la testa e il corpo le ho aiutate infilzandole tra di loro con uno stuzzicadenti. Ma per il resto le dita umide bastano e avanzano, anzi, diro di più: se le dita sono state appena lavate con l'acqua (che siano asciutte o ancora umide), la pasta non si appiccicherà da nessuna parte, invece, se hai le dita un po' umide e zuccherate perchè hai maneggiato la pallotta, allora diventerà mooolto collosa. In quel caso bisogna tuffare le mani nello zucchero velo. Per quanto riguarda eventuali piccole caramelle da incollare sul pupazzo, basta "sporcarlo" un po' con la pasta stessa, che è appiccicosa: dove lo appoggerai, ci rimarrà
