Love it! You've even managed to get the right side of her mouth correct. There's something going on there; It does slope a bit when she sings her amazing songs

Another excellent portrait. You always manage to capture likenss accurately. There is so much fan art on DA that is not quite right, and when a face is famiiar, there's nothing worse I think. Good use of colour for the skin tones too.

Hello Paul. This is very good. You posted it on Twitter as well, didn't you? So many great musicians and singers admire her. Johnny Marr said just recently that he'd like to work with her. Here's a video of him saying so (near end of clip):

I've been a fan of hers since her first album came out, so you could say I'm very fond of her and her brilliant music. Still utterly besotted with this woman and all her works. She's a guest editor on BBC Radio 2's Today programme for one day over the upcoming Christmas period. She is working on a new album as well.

Hi Matt, thanks for the feedback, much appreciated - yes I did post the picture on twitter, i post most of my WIP and finished drawings before adding to the gallery on DA. Great clip of Johnny Marr! 

Like your good self I've been a fan of PJ Harvey for a long time, since her 1st album came out too, I can fondly remember jumping around like a drunken lunatic to Sheela na gig and O Stella back in my college days a long time ago She is no doubt in my mind a musical and lyrical genius! I'll look forward to her next album and hopefully many more

thanks mate, iv just checked out your gallery aswell and was totaly blown away with those portraits you have done and was wondering if you could tell me the make of those coloured pencils you used as iv tryed this style and failed because of cheap coloured pencils i have used, many thanks.

No problem and thanks for checking out my gallery. I mostly use Faber Castell Polychromos pencils together with the cheaper faber castell colour classic. Other brand I use are Derwent art pencils and prismacolor although the prismacolor are hard to get in Ireland.
