FYI, you messed up the link for "Chapter 2: Zia's Poker Night" - it instead links you to the "Signs" comic.

Fixed! Also I updated all the index and next/previous links to be current up through today's comic, #24.

The former is unlikely, for much the same reason that most post-apocalyptic fiction never nails down what the actual apocalypse was: it's irrelevant to the story being told.

this feels more post magical resurgence then post apocalypse because otherwise all business would be closed and there would be chaos everywhere

This may be your first webcomic series but DANG you are putting everything into it. I can't wait for more.

Glad you're enjoying it. I did a filler for the Wotch years and years and years ago, but I hadn't really found another story I liked and wanted to continue until I started this. Everything I did before was depressing dramas, and this time I wanted to keep it light. It's still going to have a lot going on by the time it's done, but it's first and foremost a comedy, which keeps people coming back for the laughs if for no other reason. Here's hoping that after all's said and done, it lives up to your expectations

Poor Chloe, having to hold up a large stone "D" while Zia's taking it easy.

So are all the transformee's animal hybrids or are you going to introduce some multi limbed individuals. What about people transformed into animal hybrids that don't or can't live in the region they currently live in. Like an emperor penguin in LA.

Heh, feels like D2 getting a cover page is, like, the "This is serious" moment. Like, you're in it for the long haul now.

As long as it stays at four panels a week, and Muse keeps coming up with fun storylines and good jokes, it's not too hard to keep up.
The process is pretty a consistent two-part system now: Whenever I have new jokes or bits of storyline or backstory, they go immediately into a big growing text document, and I re-sort the comic scripts in that document so the new content fits. Then once a week or so, I draw one or two comics, whatever are next in the document in sequence, and that typically takes anywhere from one to three hours; once those are done, they get uploaded to deviantART, and scheduled for the next unscheduled Sunday at noon.
The drawn buffer is currently only two comics (two Sundays). The writing buffer has another four comics after those in the planned sequence; plus there are another dozen or so maybe- and one-off-gag scripts, and there are growing notes on the first big story arc, and some on the broader story that it's all part of. Since queues act like data-flow springs, and since I have multiple of queues, there are effectively lots of safety nets in place to help ensure that the content continues to flow at a predictable rate regardless of what's going on in my life.
Does that mean things won't eventually run out? They might. The queues might all dry up, and I'll probably schedule some intentional gaps at various intervals throughout the year. But after nine weeks of this, I feel confident that I have a process that can keep it going for a long time to come.

Well, it's good to know the title isn't strict.
Glad to see an actual cover.
