Neon Genesis Evangelion's Misato Katsuragi again, in a nice G-rated version this time. Sort of. Assuming octopus mermaids can be G-rated (hey, Ursula was, so why can't Misato be?).I felt like doing another version of this that everybody could see, but I didn't really want to draw that wrinkled red jacket of hers. Wrinkles are annoying. While browsing through some screenshots from the series, I found her wearing that pink shirt, and decided it would look very nice on her here. A few other minor alterations yielded a drawing everybody can see. So here ya go, kiddies, enjoy.

That is so cute, right down to the tentacles. ^w^ And totally G-rated, too. I love the idea of the Octopus mermaid, because it's more unique and I have never seen it before, other than in the case of Ursula.

I like the concept too, and you're right: You really don't see them very often. Overall, I like the Jenny/Penny character and storyline; but I think I'm going to have Jenny successfully change her hair back to normal, because in retrospect, it looks like just a little too much for her character design. Still, I like the concept, and sooner or later, you'll probably see another picture of her here.
And ratings are relative: I'd call this G-rated, but I know people who would call it triple-X
