This is for FreeMaree's contest, her character Moon Rise.Character (c) her
Art (c) me, and this applies for everyone requesting a pic from me: do not copy, alter, recolor or redistribute.
The ONLY chance I might permit one of my pictures being posted on a site, that would be after explicit permission and in places such as I can keep an eye on, with FULL credit and link back to my gallery here on deviantart. So remember this. I make the art of your character, without being obligated in any kind of way, just for the pleasure of making something beautiful, so DO NOT twist that pleasure and make me bitter when you could always ask for more pictures of your characters at any given time. Pissing me off and beginning a full row on the internet and possible involvement of the law will not help anyone. End of rant.
Oh, and another thing: it might help if you (whoever you might be) are a wee bit polite when requesting something. I am a person, not a cold screen, with feelings, not a machine for images. So keep that in mind, or next time I might not be as nice as to sit down and draw the pic anyway.

I think it's very good ^^. Sometimes the things you put the least amount of work into end up being better than things you've messed with for hours. Whatever you did technique-wise with this one, I'd definitely keep it up ^^. And I miss Phantom-related stuff from you. All these horses are lovely, but...bring back teh Phantom! XD That was a humble request, by the way <3.

Rarely do i see an image who's background or subject doesn't over power the other, and i am more than impressed with how the subject looks so natural is that setting.

I love this piece sweetie, you never cease to astound me with your prowess of drawing these fillies, stallions, mares, equestrian drawings in general! I wish I could capture a horse in such a surreal way...

I thank you very much for your opulent compliments, but... surreal? o.O Here I was, thinking I was trying to draw realistic cartoon...
And no, actually that is not passionate at all. Passionate would be the fury of thunder and lightning descending mercilessly on the head of the offender with endless dripping venomous sarcasm and adequate belittling arguments that could not be refuted, the simple truth only used like a razor-sharp scalpel to sever the offending limb off, be it their empty head or... other parts they will equally not miss. No, this was a calm, mere warning that desires beyond their imagination would occur...
More recalling the bitter past than actually something happening right at the moment.

I suppose to me, the surrealism comes not from the way it was draw, but the atmosphere it was placed in. That eclipse is so close the horn one would think it might be influencing the world around it ^,^ whether its wrong or right to think so, I love this piece
