Description
This is Vigilance, a gryphon I've made for by best buddy ~The-Cozmologist !He's a cross between an Eagle Owl and a Marguay ... and he's a character in my novel, The Isles of Wingsonde (formerly known as WindSong).
Lance is on the lookout for the enemy.
And you see that little gryphon symbol in the corner? That's Wingsonde's symbol! :)
I'm so proud!

well, where do I start? The overall picture is beautifully drawn with a very soft affect on the viewer. I always find that the most important part when drawing an animal/person is the eyes, and you have drawn them really well. The detail on the wings and fur is fantastic, especially the top of the head!
The background is lovely and tranquil, specifically due to the slight spectrum gradient. Same with the rock except the texture of it makes it stand out more. I really love the soft, pastel like pallet that you've used.
