Based on a request from
His request was Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rosalina as referees. Among the details I was asked to put in here was Fluttershy to have a pink whistle and Rainbow Dash using a red whistle. Β These two pony referees are blowing the whistles... Rainbow Dash sounding that whistle like crazy... Fluttershy hardly putting any effort on her whistle... Rosalina is just "oh boy..."

If Pauline were here, she'd probably join in on the fun. Maybe later on Rosalina gives up and decides to go wild.
Pauline needs to be in more of your pics, she's a very under appreciated character especially for those who don't play the Mario vs Donkey Kong games. Plus I'm partial to redheads. And blondes. Which is why Rosie looks so cute in this picture.

having fluttershy blow the the whistle will be like hearing a dog whistle and when it comes to rianbow it would be like a train's horn being sounded off.

Well it's kinda similar to that one bit in "Sonic Rainboom" where Rainbow Dash tries to get Fluttershy to cheer loudly, but she only responded with a soft "yay"...

especially how much strength she's using on one blow. she looks like she's blowing for her life.

It's Rainbow Dash. She's been able to yell really loud without getting winded so it's easily possible for her to blow that whistle as hard as she can. She's blown a whistle that loud before in Hurricane Fluttershy. So she probably has strong lungs.

yeah plus she's an athlete so she needs strong lungs when she's flying at top speed

The whistle Rainbow Dash is using is supposed to be the same whistle she used in the episodes "May the Best Pet Win" and "Hurricane Fluttershy" both excellent episodes, which had a lot of character development for Miss Rainbow. She also used a whistle in another episode, (Call of the Cutie) which makes me think she has a surplus of whistles and she gave one to Fluttershy to use.
I imagine Rainbow Dash decided to dress like a ref because she wanted to make some calls of her own. You definitely wouldn't want to disagree with her calls...

Poor Rosalina has to play "referee" for these two adorable pony referees, pondering whether or not she should join in and give her whistle a blow.
I think Rosie's whistle sounds like a medium between Dashie's and Shy's.
And yes, she can get pretty violent if you disagree with her, but I still love her.

I like how you included the detail of Fluttershy trying to blow her whistle but no sound coming out.
Somehow I thought she'd have puffy cheeks like Rainbow Dash, just to make her look like she's really blowing that thing but nothing comes out.
This is a nice Halloween picture too, even though it's not Halloween themed.

He's like five foot two iirc, and the ponies are about four feet. Unless my height's off but Applejack calling Ed short would be hypocritical and funny.
