THIS IS A WORK-IN-PROGRESS. I NEED YOUR FEEDBACK ON WHICH CHARACTERS TO MAKE!So it's that time of the year where I am busily making con merch. These are the two new mini-plush patterns I've developped.
The one on the left is 2.5inches; I haven't dressed it, but the body is so small that I will simply paint it on. (I just laid down some markings so you can see how it'll roughly look)
The one on the right is 3 inches; it features fabric clothes.
After I make a few more with white skin (specifically for Ulquiorra), I will have a beautiful total of 115.
Since I fail at otaku culture, please let me know/send pics of potential characters that you'd like to see, think that would sell, or would want to buy.
I'm taking your feedback like requests, but it doesn't mean that I will necessarily make them.

Oh, and apparently, my dad hasn't been feeling well these days (he gets these random dizzy spell attacks) and he is supposed to drive down to TO tomorrow. So all it takes is for him to say "I'm not feeling well"...and then I'm fucked. Or rather, I'll have to find some other way of getting there (prob by bus)... I'm just not going to think about it for now because I gotta get WORKING!!

Well I'd suggest doing Hetalia ones if you don't mind doing popular series atm (I made merchandise for that and it sold brilliantly

I'm really amazed how Naruto is still so popular....(still haven't touched it at all though!)

Russia is definitely one of the most popular ones. I'd say America and Canada too. I want to come to AN still, but my mother recently just left me destitute lately so I don't know if I can afford everything sadly ><;

Yeah, with bills that are bound to pile up, I think I'm going to have to take a rain check for AN and go to collosol con where I'll have I table (I think). Though I have to ask, even though it's almost been a year. When your work load slows down after the con and what not, would you still be up for a trade? I'll need more 'newer' works for my portfolio and I want to be able to get something done for someone special of mine (If you're busy though it's totes cool XD).

Okay, after much arguing with her (She doesn't feel I should waste this trade on her XD), she wants a plushie of my character Kozo (I think she wants to commission you for her character later to give to me though, so I haven't the faintest XD). Anyway, here are some references for him:

And as for what I'd like you to draw:
I've been meaning to change my desktop wallpaper for forever, but nothing on the net has caught my eye. I currently have L from deathnote (and I don't even like deathnote, LOL!). I really liked the dramatic light in your WWII drawings, so I thought you could make me a wallpaper involving that cool atmospheric light and something with a guy playing a guitar.

I'll give you more specs (like dimensions) later on (or if you want them now, I can get that info for you)..but for the time being, let me know if this inspires you at all, and whether you have any thoughts!

Yeah that sounds good, I have a general idea of what I might be able to do for you! I'll try to get up some sketches for it in due time. Sorry I took a while responding (I just graduated and had to move over to my new place XD). And by all means, I can do you up better reference for Kozo at any time.

Oh no worries! I've been quite busy myself...and I can't believe AN is the day after tomorrow..and then 3 days after the con, I'll be hopping onto a plane to Japan!

OMG they're a lot o.o Suggestions would be Grimmjow and Hitsugaya from Bleach, characters from Naruto (from here I love Itachi Uchiha), from Rurouni Kenshin would be kenshin and Sanosuke, Death Note obviously L XD and Light.....There are videogames too like Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Pokemon etc....that are very popular so any character from them are a good selling ^-^ For how much you'll be selling them?

I think they'll be between 5 and 10$CAD. It'll depend on how complex each chara is (like if I make Sora with all of his belts and buckles, he'll obviously be more pricey!)

I'd say you should make some of the Hetalia cast as it is extremely popular at the moment and there is going to be a large group of said fans at Anime North...if that's what you're making them for. Some other good choices would be Reborn characters, Bleach characters, Naruto characters and maybe some Kingdom Hearts characters.

America/Alfred, England/Arthur, Russia/Ivan, China/Yao France/Francis, Japan/Kiku, Germany/Ludwig and North Italy/Veneciano are the main characters of the comics..so they might be best bets. Look at them. You can usually find a sheet with all of them on them, and then pick the ones you like.

Probably Kyoko or Ren, though many like Sho as well

Ulquiorra and Grimmjow are definitely popular. Then you've got Rukia and Orihime who's respective fans flock everywhere, and Ichigo is a safe bet. L, Light, and probably Mello are all easy sales, from Death Note. Deidara and Tobi from Naruto are sure sells. Sasuke and Naruto themselves are big sales too. I bet if you sold plushies of Konata from Lucky Star plenty of people would buy them. Oh- Riku from Kingdom Hearts. Cloud and Leon from Final Fantasy's 7 and 8 respectively are big hits in fandom. I'd give you pictures but these characters are basically so popular and easy to find they're simple xD

I'd go for popular series like Bleach or Naruto, but maybe you could focus on the lesser-known characters?
I'd love a mini plush of Ukitake, for instance, or of any of the Vizards or Nel. But...I'm not really your typical anime fan, so take that into consideration.
