pictures of my helmet! *squeals* it is lovely...*mock concern* do you think I put enough grime on it?
And of course, as pictures often are...they don't do it justice by a long shot...the red is much darker, an there is more "dirt" than shows up here, and the cheekbone pieces are kinda a sparkly gray, not black or silver.
I actually got done painting this early yesterday afternoon, but didn't get my greedy little paws on a camera till this morning, and then when I was about to upload this, I got a call from work asking if I could come in because they were REALLY busy and hadn't had a chance to get any of the prep work done (this is a Subway, so not having the prep done means if you run out of something, your screwed) and could I please, please, PLEASE come in because they needed my help and would die without me....okay, they didn't actually say that, but that's how it works in this business
So now, 2 hours after I started to post this, I give you...The helmet!*snorts* every time I look at it I want to pull out a rag and clean it...

70 shipped...not too bad given that it's got a nice t-visor and I put in the craft ring...does need a bit of a sanddown though, the paint didn't agree with it for some reason and is still tacky in a couple places...I need to reglue the visor in though.

Actually, its a Rubies Jango one-piece, so I didn't have to make it at all.
I'd have gotten a better quality bucket, but all the nice one's come in a 1:1 size, which, as a girl, makes me look like a bobblehead.

Yeah, thats the one...*frowns* I got mine for $60 shipped though.
And it might not be the best helmet for you. Diferences in height/weight means that is too small for most people. Its also made out of latex, and if stored in heat (like say, if its n a car), can deform.
Just good old fashioned spray paint.

Right now I'm working on the slow part, stitching all the panels on...putting the pieces together should go really fast.
all I have left to applique is one side of the hood, the back, and 1/2 the front.
what I've done so far: 1 hood side, top of hood, 1/2 of front, the sleeves, and the double sleeves.
