pictures of my helmet! *squeals* it is lovely...*mock concern* do you think I put enough grime on it?
And of course, as pictures often are...they don't do it justice by a long shot...the red is much darker, an there is more "dirt" than shows up here, and the cheekbone pieces are kinda a sparkly gray, not black or silver.
I actually got done painting this early yesterday afternoon, but didn't get my greedy little paws on a camera till this morning, and then when I was about to upload this, I got a call from work asking if I could come in because they were REALLY busy and hadn't had a chance to get any of the prep work done (this is a Subway, so not having the prep done means if you run out of something, your screwed) and could I please, please, PLEASE come in because they needed my help and would die without me....okay, they didn't actually say that, but that's how it works in this business
So now, 2 hours after I started to post this, I give you...The helmet!*snorts* every time I look at it I want to pull out a rag and clean it...

*is thoughtful* well, I was trying to be realistic...Boba's helmet looks the way it does after 30 years of non-stop bounty hunting, whereas at this point in time, Tobi has only been in the business for roughly 10 years (and prefers work that's a little more low-risk...usually guard work, item retrieval, or occasionally assassinations. She has her reasons.)...plus, her armor used to have a different paint scheme when she first got started, meaning the old paint/battle wear would have been stripped off, and painted over.

The helmet is a rubies jango one-piece, widened with a a craft ring...the visor is from t-visors.com.

The visor, A)looks like osik, and B) is falling out and doesn't want to go back in.

Get one form t-visors.com, and then go get a Craft ring at the nearest Hobby Lobby. MAKE SURE THE RING FITS OVER YOUR HEAD. You won't be using all of it, but it gives the helmet the flare it needs and helps it hold its shape...you'll need to trim up the t-visor thingy a bit, to make it fit in the helmet, but not much...I just used hot glue to attach mine, and its holding great...oh, and make sure you put in the craft ring after the visor...easier that way.

Brittany bought a visor from somewhere online and it shattered when she tried to put it in her helmet. It wasn't from t-visor though.
