Honestly, this specific piece took way longer than it should naturally have, as I started on July 31st. The concept was to produce something themed around fire & ice, yin & yang, etc. You probably get the idea. The outfits you undoubtedly see upon them were not what was planned either. In fact, the tabards of flame and frost were what I had intended to utilize. I've made some amazing transmogs with them in-game but justly feared the elaborate outfits being extremely busy, possibly hindering the readability of Pete's and Phe's poses.

Despite the idea behind this piece being simple, many experiments took place, especially with the unique background! It also seems every time the pedestal is used in a new art piece, continuous improvements are made. Don't comprehend why, but I genuinely love working with pedestals. The experiments and improvements were not what prevented me from finishing. No, truth be told, my depression has been grinding me down. Many things have just been piling up, and there is only so much a person can take before they begin to tire.

Regardless, I'll get through this, as it isn't my first rodeo with depression. Besides, there are still a ton of creative ideas in my head for future Blender pieces, but up next I'll be painting a slate rock. The rock will be used to mark the gravesite where Rodney's parents buried their little Schnauzer, Alley. She certainly was a very special little dog.
