It been quite a long time since I posted any of my more whimsical work here. Production of my Utherworlds novel was taking up so much of my time that I just couldn't get to building on this series. Well, I finally found some time to get back to it and with some funny little characters too.

I adore this picture. It's bright and cheery, and it reminds me so much of what I used to imagine I saw, and of the friends I imagined for myself, when I was little. Beautifully done.

It's not just what's hidden... Did any one else notice the butterfly, near the top left corner? Is it just me, or does the butterfly have the American Flag for a pattern on it's wings!?

There are creatures hiding in there! This is really a gorgeous picture--the colors are so vibrant and it's so whimsical and full of details! (Like the little stars-and-stripes butterfly!)
