It been quite a long time since I posted any of my more whimsical work here. Production of my Utherworlds novel was taking up so much of my time that I just couldn't get to building on this series. Well, I finally found some time to get back to it and with some funny little characters too.

Oh, I love this. This just makes me feel happy by looking at it! The characters are very endearing and the colors are gorgeous. It's like a cross between "Where the Wild Things Are" and thew jungles of Neverland. This is fantastic!

Yeh I think my training early on in my career working for Mercer Mayer (Maurice Sendacks friend)influnced my wife and I's artwork.

I'm getting an Alice In Wonderland feeling. ^^ I love the coloring!

This piece is very imaginative and detailed. I love all the natural components of this, like the curling grass, flowers, detail on the butterflies' wings and exotic mushrooms. I love how the critters dotting the image are cleverly 'hidden'. x) It's fun looking at the image and trying to spot all the tiny monsters. Lovely.

The colors are phenomenal. the creatures are creepy. i just imagined my self walking around a forrest or somthing similar to the painting and then stumbeling to a view suck as this. it would b scary lol. no doubt skill is present in this piece but theirs a erie feel to the painting lol. my personal response not a general view lol
