Edit: I messed around with the colors and contrast on this, it looks a hundred times better I think.I've always liked Protoss' design, so I'm doing a series of interiors of their buildings. For the Nexus I imagined it being very open, perhaps like the massive temple in Brood War that activated a huge explosion to wipe out the Zerg in that area. I also took the floating discs that float near the Mothership, and wanted to put discs like those rotating around the Nexus' core.

I set my stylus so pressure effects the opacity of the color. I just paint basically : )

i always wondered how the probes were made. makes sense with scv's and drones. scv is just made and a engineer is put in, drone is mutated, but just how did the probes come to be?

Wow!! Extremely creative. I had never thought about what happens inside a Nexus, and mind you, I'm a sucker for pseudo science. With you permission I will use a portion of this for the /allthingsprotoss subreddit banner design i'm working on. You can just say no and I won't use it.

Well I couldn't use it. The banner was 1366x100, so pretty much the opposite of you piece. I literally could not find a good segment to use, even tho i tried for quite some time. In any case, I like it so much that i'll post it anyways!

Wow, This is really cool. I don't know of anyone doing a case study of the nexus on the inside. This is completely unique in my opinion and extremely interesting.

It's up for interpretation, I always like to think they were built there. It's not like Protoss warps in everything, such as Carriers building interceptors, or something getting built at the robots facility.
