Edit: I messed around with the colors and contrast on this, it looks a hundred times better I think.I've always liked Protoss' design, so I'm doing a series of interiors of their buildings. For the Nexus I imagined it being very open, perhaps like the massive temple in Brood War that activated a huge explosion to wipe out the Zerg in that area. I also took the floating discs that float near the Mothership, and wanted to put discs like those rotating around the Nexus' core.

Ooh I love it! Do probes get built in the Nexus or warped in? I looked it up on the sc wiki and it didn't say

I'd like to think they are built, like units at a Robotics Facility. Cause if they warped in, why not have probes warping in at any pylon. : P

Sounds like robo units are warped in, same with stargate... sorry, I always feel the need to know how everything works and be super accurate

If they could get warped in, what's stopping them from getting warped in from warp gates? : P Guh.. cannon rushes would be a nightmare.

As for the Edit: Looks less bright... the flashy blue PSI networks that are the trademark of photos got really silenced due to the contrast edit. IMO, I would make them a bit brighter.

Yea, I might make them a tad brighter, but not too bright since I like the atmosphere the low light is creating. Thanks for the suggestion : )

This is awesome!
I adore how you made it all a bit blurry with the painting effect. A lineart would make it more stiff and less mystical, and I really love to see Protoss more mysterious than just alien technology.
The design itself is very believable and in the style Protoss could have. Putting things already existing in official Protoss art, like the Mothership discs, is a great idea!
It is amazing how you fit the Probe and its building process in there.
Definietely one of my fav SC pieces on devuiantART. Make more of Protoss art!
