Maybe I will have to read the books. I love sad backstories. I also love nightmares and terror. When I was little, I always imagined those dragon-like shadows on my window were guarding and protecting me.

Light and dark, intricate designs and simplicity, simple backgrounds, soft pastel colours... you have everything I LOVE in an art piece. No one has able to capture beauty the same way as you do, in my opinion.

yes, it's based off of a series of books (3 novels so far, and i don't know how many picture books) and the movie is based about 200 years after the novels.
