Actually, it's mentioned in the Silmarillion that he was very fair, youthful and basically angelic in appearance, so this more feminine representation of him isn't too far off the mark, I think.

Yeah, it isn't until after his physical body is destroyed during the destruction of Numenor that he looks like he does in Lord of the Rings, aka the big scary Dark Lord and then the giant fiery eyeball atop a tower.

Haha, I need to re-read the Silmarillion, it's been a few years since I last read it. Been a few years since I last read the Lord of the Rings books too, now that I think of it. They're awesome stories, though.

I mean .. all goblins, orks and trolls are evil.. all ghosts are evil... The Mordor is evil.. Like perception of the world after second World War .. "Russia is evil, germany sucks. Our beautiful England and Amerika are so cool" And Elfs.. blee I can't stand they. ELF WAS F***ING EVIL ! In original they stole childred they caused a disease and generaly was mischievous... Tolkien made they beautiful good clever the best persons.. >:C Like he'd never heard about elfs and after heard too much very superstitious people who believe is they say something wrong about elfs they'll come and kill him.
