Numbers!? You just open up Apophysis and move triangles around!
Well, used to at least...the math really isn't evident anymore, you basically change numbers which have different effects, toy with gradients, and move the weights of the fractal around.

Photography is a great passion as well. Something about the process of getting that perfect shot or render is something I enjoy in digital art and photography (I do photography as well, just not nearly with the level of patience and opportunity that one needs as a professional), if you have the patience, pursue it, because I honestly think photography is a great hobby for those who are actually going outside - unlike most of us digital artists who are cooped up in the house.

Great comparison, I definitely see that in this piece. I'm not sure if the overall colors should be associated with rust or some kind of jewelery. Maybe something along the lines of the jewelery that rusts, how something materialistic will ultimately continue on, without an owner, without emotion, without purpose - something that becomes forgotten with time.

Not really, I mean, to a point I could over-analyze all of my art and give everything a "meaning," but I don't have the time. Usually when I mean for a piece to have more of a symbolic meaning, I write a poem to go along with it, e.g., [link] [link] and [link]
This one, in particular, wasn't going to be posted, simply because of the appearance and lack of a dynamic. However, many other people have offered up their own suggestions of what it could symbolize and I suppose the simple fact is that all of my pieces have some sort of deeper meaning. As to what it is, well, I'm not always going to identify it.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The textures are breathtaking, so much so that had I not read the catagory I would have never known it was fractal art. I find this peice so original and beautiful. Congratulations on the DD and please keep at it.

It's interesting to be a part of an art form that really doesn't have a huge fanbase, at least, a fanbase that isn't part of the fractal community, and that really is inspiring to keep working on new designs.
