Because the gods down at Naughty Dog love us they decided that at some point Drake should get a tux, which he instantly destroys. Drake does not wear a tux with the same dignified grace as James Bond...and yet it still works for him.

Oh my God... Drake in a tux is my FAVORITE. Like, you have no idea how much I freaked when I saw the latest clip from the game. This is so GORGEOUS! I could stare at it forever. Wow, amazing work!

I didn't read the novel, so I don't really know about the original one.
