Description Yes, I am aware that I threw logic out the window... Also, I do plan to get reply to the 38 things in my inbox, just not at the moment...

Rules: (Yes, I know you hate them, but I gotta have them.)
Write something worth reading! This is a biggie. I simply will not respond to horrible starting posts. Bad comments later on will receive a warning. (Likely after I ignore it for a few days)
Paragraph form, not script form.
No having an overpowered character!
Nothing fatal.
No swearing. (you can say that they swore, or use something like 'Dang frizzle frazzle phooey to the nth degree,' but don't actually swear. (Also, interwebz cookie to the first person to name where I got that from.))
No fetish related stuff.
No sex. None. I won't RP that.

Also, no switching on this one.

"I'll start with the other things," Rojer said, getting up.

Chris nodded. He started stacking things back in the overturnt bucket.

They worked in silence for a bit, Chris with the lower, smaller things, Rojer with the higher, bigger things.

Chris finished with his task soon enough and went on to find other things and bits of junk that could honestly be thrown away.

After maybe half an hour, Rojer stopped to take a break. They'd made a lot of progress already.

(I just got this interesting idea. Not necessarily for an rp, just a scenario. Imagine a diabetic giant who has a tiny friend that saves their life one time?)

Chris looked up when he stopped. After tossing what he'd had in his arms into the trash bag in the floor, he walked over to Rojer.

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-08 05:23:20 +0000 UTC]

((That would be interesting. How would the tiny save the giant's life?))

"What was that?" Rojer asked.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-08 05:42:49 +0000 UTC]

(Well, being diabetic, he or she would occasionally need insulin, right? Or more simply, a snack. So, the tiny could help by running to get these in the case the giant couldn't.)

"What?" Chris asked, circling him.

((Ah.))

"The things you threw away," Rojer answered.

"Balled up paper, an old fuzzy mint, a red shirt button, some string." he listed. "A ball of lint...oh, and I found this paper lip, but I think I'll keep it."

Rojer nodded. "Oh, okay," he said. "What do you want the clip for?"

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-08 05:55:03 +0000 UTC]

"Well, it was just interesting. I'm sure there are new uses for it at my size."

Rojer shrugged. "If you say so," he said.Β

Chris smiled, showing the thin metal hooked on his belt. "Hey, you never know."

Suddenly, there was a knock on Rojer's door...it totally threw Chris off for a minute. He just stood there, staring blankly before he realized what it was. Who...would be this far out of the way? Rojer lived far out into what was pretty much the country...why was anyone out here? Was it a friend, relative? Somebody else? Chris frowned, looking at Rojer questioningly. Was he expecting someone?

Rojer looked back at him and shrugged, holding out a hand for the human.

Chris hesitated. He shook his head, wanting to stay away from other giants.

"Then stay in here, alright," Rojer said, getting up to answer the door. He mostly closed the closet door on the way out.Β

Chris watched him go. He followed Rojer, shoving the door open mire than his ough to get out. He peeked around the corner, watching his friend go answer the door.

Outside, when Rojer answered, a doctor would be standing on the porch...strange.

Rojer had no idea that Chris had blatantly done the opposite of what he'd been told. "Uh, hello, can I help you?" he asked in surprise when he saw the doctor.

((Does he know the doc?))

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 00:08:34 +0000 UTC]

(Probably not. We could make it so that he does if you wanted to try that. It could just be someone widely known.)

The man nodded to him, bowing slightly. "Hello. I'm Doctor Wells. A specialized doctor, actually. I was sent here by the same company that distributes humans for companions."

Chris frowned deeply. Oh, great. Of course it was for him.Β

((Okay. And... Speaking English on purpose, or no?))

Rojer nodded slowly. "Right," he said. "What do you want?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 01:26:41 +0000 UTC]

(On purpose, to show he knows humans well enough.)

"To run the standard check up on him. He didn't recieve it, apparently. It's odd that they'd send me personally on a home call, but they insisted on it. Can't fantom why." the doctor said honestly. "May I come in? I'll be out within the hour if I have cooperation."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 02:36:28 +0000 UTC]

((Okay. But what would he have done if Rojer didn't speak English? Most of the giants don't...))

Rojer stepped aside. He knew this was necessary. "Alright, fine. I'll go get him." Heading back to the closet, he called, "Chris?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 04:57:09 +0000 UTC]

(Ah, okay. See your point. But Rojer also answered the door in English.)

Chris was already out of sight. He'd ran for cover already back into the dark closet.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:00:36 +0000 UTC]

((Whoops. I didn't even realize...))

Since that's where Rojer was headed, it didn't make much of a difference. Rojer opened the door, looking for his friend. "Chris?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:10:33 +0000 UTC]

(Hehe, it's fine.)

Chris stayed silently where he was. He didn't like doctors with their needles and cold hands...they weren't very nice back from when he and Rojer were locked up. Maybe if he hid long enough, Rojer would give up realizing he didn't want to be found or the doctor would grow impatient...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:14:00 +0000 UTC]

"Chris?" Rojer said again. He sighed. "There's a doctor here... to see you. Mandatory checkup thing. Please come out."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:19:30 +0000 UTC]

Chris felt a little bad for hiding, but he really didn't want to.

The doctor left his bag next to the chair out front. He stood behind Rojer patiently. ""Do I have a scared patient?"" he asked calmly.

Β

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:21:08 +0000 UTC]

"Possibly," Rojer answered, sticking to English for Chris. "He doesn't trust giants much, especially strangers. Chris, please come out."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:27:11 +0000 UTC]

Doctor Wells nodded in response. He caught onto what Rojer was doing with his speech and respectfully followed suit. "Chris, it's just a check up. We have to do it before I can leave." he said gently. "Rojer will be with you the whole time. I won't do anything without telling you exactly what first."

Chris groaned silently. They were just trying to draw him out...surely to trick him...

Doctor Wells changed his strategy a little. "You trust Rojer, don't you? He's only doing what he thinks is best for you."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:29:44 +0000 UTC]

"Plus if he doesn't do the checkup, he won't leave my house," Rojer added with a sigh. "But I promise, it's normal stuff to make sure you're healthy. Tico went through it too, when he was first here."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:32:37 +0000 UTC]

The doctor didn't mention the vaccine shot Chris needed...

Chris whined, slowly giving in. He gave up, sliding out if the shadows, but all body language showed he was not happy at all. He folded his arms, leaning against the wall near the door. "...why can't I just be left in peace?"

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:35:15 +0000 UTC]

"Because nobody likes to let us be," Rojer said. "Sorry."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:38:23 +0000 UTC]

The doctor looked apologetic, but said nothing on it. "Let's get it over with and then I'll leave. Rojer, if you'll please bring him to the living room?"

"I'll walk on my own." Chris frowned at the doctor. He walked past both giants, heading the way he'd been told. The doctor followed rather than passing him.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:41:30 +0000 UTC]

Rojer followed as well, feeling oddly shameful. He wanted to tell the doctor to just go away and leave them alone. But he knew that this was necessary. Legally, if for no other reason.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:44:18 +0000 UTC]

Eventually they got there. Chris stood by the table, arms crossed as the doctor got out papers for Rojer. Dr. Wells asked Rojer to help Chris up to the table top for easier examining.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:46:28 +0000 UTC]

Rojer took the papers with one hand, kneeling and offering Chris the other. Though of course if Chris still wanted to assert his independence, he could climb the ladder.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 05:48:34 +0000 UTC]

Chris glanced to the ladder, but just got onto the offered hand. Had it been the doctor, he would have marched all the way to the ladder himself...but it wasn't his friend's fault this was happening...maybe only in that he opened the door, but that wasn't really fair either.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 05:51:23 +0000 UTC]

Rojer gave him a tiny, apologetic smile, lifting Chris up to the table.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 06:00:24 +0000 UTC]

Chris sighed. "Alright. Less than an hour, right?"

The man with the peppered black hair nodded. "Right."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 06:09:53 +0000 UTC]

"And I'll be right here the whole time," Rojer added.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 06:27:11 +0000 UTC]

Chris shrugged. That hardly helped aside from the fact he knew the doctor couldn't just do anything or treat him badly. "Okay. I'm ready."

Dr. Wells nodded and just started off with simple things like height and weight. The papers Rojer had to fill out were just little simple questions and a survey onΒ Chris. What he acted like and then also his physical appearance and his age.

The doctor moved on to checking his eyes and mouth and ears, with special percision equipment designed for human. Even the short version of a physical went good with the mobile equipment the doctor had...but then came time for the shot. It was the last thing they had to do.Β

Chris stared at them. He'd cooperated. He'd listened and done whatever crazy thing that had been asked of him up to here. But this was too far...especially when he could only imagine the size of the needle. "No."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 06:29:52 +0000 UTC]

And there is was. Now that they were almost done, Chris was resisting again. Not that Rojer blamed him. Suddenly the memory of last time came upon him, and he looked away. That doctor hadn't spoken English. Neither had Rojer, yet; it had only been a few days since Tico had arrived. The poor human had hated the entire ordeal, but the shot was the worst. He'd had to be physically restrained for that.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 06:45:11 +0000 UTC]

The doctor sighed. "Chris, this is the last thing. It'll be over quickly."

"I. Said. No. I don't know what that really is you're trying to put into me and you can't force me to."

The doctor looked down. "No, I can't. It's by the consent of Rojer, however, if I administer it or not...its...in your best interest, to keep you from getting sick from introuduction to new pathogens here."

Chris looked from the doctor to Rojer, falling silent. "...Rojer...I'll be fine without it." he said, backing up slowly, moving towards the ladder. "We're done..."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 06:58:16 +0000 UTC]

Rojer nodded. "Alright," he said. "We'll just have to make sure we have cold medicine."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 07:09:27 +0000 UTC]

Chris sighed a little, nodding.

The doctor didn't look irritated, but rather worried. "...if you are certain, then I can't change your mind. But it has consequences you know. Ones that make the shot seem like nothing. It's a small price to pay to avoid all that."

Chris just shrugged, shaking his head. "No thank you..."

The doctor shook his head, packing his things. "It shouldn't be up to you...you are acting like a child about all this and I know you aren't one. But it's your poor decision to live with." he glanced to Rojer disapprovingly when he said it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Phoenix-FireMage In reply to Ice-Cove27 [2015-07-09 07:13:49 +0000 UTC]

Rojer frowned back. "If he gets sick, I'll take care of him," he said. "Please leave now."

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Ice-Cove27 In reply to Phoenix-FireMage [2015-07-09 07:18:41 +0000 UTC]

"It's not just a cold." the doctor grumbled unhappily. He took up the papers too. "Have it your way. But please, for his sake, consider it before it's too late. You may think I'm just some doctor looking for money, but I've been doing this for 36 years and know what happens as consequence. I like to do my job right and to help people...but you can't help who doesn't want to be helped. It'll fall on you."

The doctor left a business card on the table, but then he was gone.

(..if the plot calls for it later. I wasn't actually expecting Rojer to give in.)

Chris nodded. "I dont know what he was talking about. I've felt fine and I've been here for days! What sickness was he talking about? Has Tico ever gotten it?"
