Fun one, this. I drew the original artwork about a month and a half ago (on holiday, actually!) - I've only just got around to shooping it up. Getting away from the airbrush for a bit - loosely based on the KH1 box art.

So I mentioned, back on the Flicker Keywraith image, that there was one special one I was going to show soon?

This is her.

It's Xion.

(Is anyone still dodging Days spoilers? It might be a good point to back away right now...)

With Roxas and Naminé (both of whom I'm still working on), she's one of the most wildly changed characters in concept in the mirrorverse, given her genesis lies after the canon and mirror timelines break apart from each other. With the Organization's role as the good guys, there's no such thing as the Replica program as we know it...

Created as just a puppet of the Keywraiths' controller, given sentience with shards of impressed memories, and sent out into the world to shadow and infiltrate the Organization... as she grows to know them, she grows into a person of her own, and has to decide whose side she's on.
Lea befriends her, shows her how to live. Ienzo remembers being all quiet like she seems, and sympathises. Xeha's happy to have the company - whether as a friend or ally. Isa, on the other hand, thinks there's something off about her ... and Braig *knows* there is.

While this image doesn't show it very well, the back of her hood's decorated with a Kingdom Key crown-tooth pattern.

She does have a boss form. I just haven't worked it out yet; it's similar in basics to the Replica one we're used to, but modified to fit her new role.

Every kind of 'blade has its corresponding 'wraith. And Xion's?
It's the X-Blade. "No 'I'. X."
To form her, her creator ...
(... Aqua, as the presence of a Rain Fall wraith in the other picture might have implied, the counterpart to Xemnas here...)
... had to call on memories of Ven and Vanitas. And she's impressed a lot of those memories of her friend into her creation. This version of Xion doesn't look like black-haired-Kairi when she loses the hood; more a feminine Ven, to all eyes. (And that is definitely enough to set Braig off. )
