good pic, looks like your since of composition and eye movement is as sharp as ever. lets see if i can provide something useful on the smoothness and sharpening... even though my experience isnt that great....
to my knowledge the point of smoothing and sharpening is not be very noticed, if you need to smooth and sharpen the picture extreemely to make it look good, chances are it's not that great of a picture or theres another way to do it. so start in little little amounts i guess. the only way i'd use that much sharpening is put this layer over the original and use masks to bring out the original picture only smoothing whats necessary, or use a combination of opacity or something, i really don't know at this point i'm spewing stuff straight from my brain to the point that it's just whatever i'm thinking, like dogs, i love dogs!... err ya... i'm finished, hope that helped!
