Description
People have asked time after time for instructions on a dress up, so I decided to include a dress up tutorial here, at least for a basic one. I'm new at this so be gentle and leave helpful criticism if necessary. Also, this tutorial is for Macromedia Flash MX 2004, so results may vary for different versions. If there's enough demand, I'll put up a more advanced tutorial for those who mastered the basics.

Thx for tutorial! But whenever I try to test the movie I get this error message:

Make sure to first click on the item and add the code where it says "Actions-Movieclip" or "Actions-Button" and NOT "Actions-Frame"

Is it possible to draw everything in another program and then code it and stuff in Flash? I tried pasting a pic from Photoshop once but it turned out all pixelly..
Also, is it possible to resize the canvas in Flash? (I'm asking you because you seem to know a bit about Flash and the help section doesn't actually help lol)

Yes I done that, but you need to convert everything into bitmap objects by "tracing bitmap".
You can just change the size of the canvas from the properties inspector for your second question ^^

the code doesnt work for me...when i test it the "output" window pops up and says:
