All, the basic weapons are done, it took a bit longer than I expected.For now basic lasers can double as ER models or Pulse lasers, same for ACs and UACs, LB-X ACs etc... Later I'll make specific weapons for all the advanced weapons too.
The bottom right item is not really a weapon, it's an active sensors package. I'm planning on having some recon missions where you have to take pictures of enemy mechs or facilities. I'll be using the sensor package as a weapon which you can trigger in the normal way. When triggered I'll check distance and angle to all the objectives to see if we got a good picture or not. I can also save the pictures and show them after the mission.

Yes, I've just finished a session of work on the project, taking it up to a first demo with vehicles.
I'm going to be doing something else for a while then I'll come back to this to add mechs and do the mission structure.
I just spent 3 months on it non-stop so I need a break. But I'll get back to it soon.

Nice, I like the ammo belts for the missile weapons. Ammo delivery for those things puzzled me throughout the 90s.

I always imagined the missiles stacked on top of each other in the tube like a can of pringles, but looking at an old schematic of a madcat it seemed that they used a missile feed like that.

I do not recognize the weapon next to the gauss rifle and under the LRM-20, which one is that?
Rather ingenious ammo feed for the missiles, never would have thought to make them belt-fed.

That's a mech's sensor package. It's just the basic sensors of a mech. I'm going to be testing out using them like a weapon, point and fire to get extra data or mark a target as identified for mission objectives purposes. I want to make scouting missions meaningful.

For now, yes. Later I'll stick some electronic doodads on there to make it look more lostek.
One thing I forgo to add were the aerospace fighter bombs, which come in two types, HE and cluster.
I did some weird rules for them in the old version of the game and now I can't remember how I had them working.
Think I'll have to do that part over again.

Shades of F-19/F-117A Stealth Fighter... which was a boss game, mind, so this is not a bad thing.
