Description
Put this together for a ref instead of providing a bunch of links to click.
Bagbean feet are tapir inspired, but obviously they are not a 100% anatomy replica to actual tapirs. When they get extra toes through a star mutation (More Phalanges) you can see their resemblance to tapir feet more since tapirs have more toes.
Their toenail is long and comes to a rounded point past the length of their foot. Their pawpad extends underneath their foot and connects to the underside of the toenail.
The toenail does not sit on top of their foot like a human toenail.

this helped me a lot, I always thought bagbean feet were a bit strange because when I heard "toe" I thought "hoof" so I just went with horse hooves! But this makes so much more sense, and I really understand the "more Phalanges" now!

another thing i see is people drawing bagbean feet like hooves, when they're not hollow like a horses. Tapirs have actual toes that have grown into an entire fingernail like a mix between an elephants and a pigs food. So it's not really a hoof but looks similar to one. Tapir can move their toes though unlike horses who can't move their toes at the place where its calloused over.Β
but ye, I just like to think of them as like triangle shaped stubby caster feet LUL
