Story Event - I See London,Welcome to I See London. [Event Preview for additional information] Shuttle Antares, Witch with the London Association of Witchery (LAW) has arrived in town and is on the hunt for information. Will you help them? Hinder them? Pay zero attention to them or their goals at all? Tell your villager's story and earn rewards! Timeline: This event takes place in canon on October 7th 2023 and takes place over the course of one day. How to participate?Pick one of 5 paths listed below - Each villager you own may play through one path. They can not switch or pick a second path after beginning or completing. One path per villager total… Create submissions to match the prompts- Submissions can be any type of submission that is legal for the group (Art, Literature, or Crafts) as long as it meets the prompt's requirement. - Multiple prompts can be on the same submission as long as they are clearly identifiable as the prompt they are intended to be. - Multiple villagers can use the same submission for their prompts so long as they meet the minimum requirements. - Labeling/sectioning is recommended where possible, as if we can not tell what prompt is where, we may reject it for that prompt and ask you to fix or section it so we can tell what's going on. - Collabs ARE legal so long as both members and mutually consenting to the collab. If both members wish to include characters they all need to meet the requirement. Minimum Requirements (Per Prompt)- Art: Colored Lined Fullbody OR Colored Lined Partial with Background (Multiple characters can use the same background if they are in the same scene.) - Lit: 800 Words- Craft: Simple CraftSubmit to the group's Event Submissions gallery folder!Receive Rewards! - Reply to the featured comment thread with your submissions to receive rewards! - Each prompt completed will earn you one random potion. This can be anything from a Failure to a 4-Ingredient Potion. Shuttle and Rocket's paths may have some surprises in these rolls. - Completing all 5 prompts will earn you a completion prize! There are some options. – One Known Potion of Choice (Known meaning, we know it exists, even if it is not presently in the potion folder or masterlist) [Bonus Potion 001 can only be claimed from Flint's path]OR– A unique prize per path. This can be claimed once per member. OR (If the villager completing the path is a witch) – A Personal Cauldron tool (This tool will have more information revealed later, but it will attach to the witch who completed the path, so choose wisely) PathsShuttle Shuttle is questioning the locals about potion misuse and other similar issues. Draw or write about your villager being questioned by Shuttle. After the little interview, Shuttle requests your help in their quest for information, seeing as you probably know the lay of the land better than them. They could use the help if you aren't too busy. They will make it worth your time. Draw or write about your villager helping Shuttle by leading them around or aiding in their investigation. Shuttle's investigation brings you to Sparrow's cottage in the Hollow Forest. Shuttle asks Sparrow about potion misuse, just like most people, but also about some other information, like the potion samples received in 2021 and such. Sparrow answers honestly, explaining that her assistant, Flint Sprocket, picked them up and brought them back. She does mention there were oddly less samples of what she refers to by a couple different names, but Shuttle recognizes as Free Bees potion, than any other potions in the sampler. What do you do? Are you listening? Taking notes? Distracted by a raider or wild familiar? Something else? Draw or write about this scenario. It's a little late for lunch but late lunch is better than no lunch, right? Shuttle thinks so… or maybe Shuttle just eats a late lunch… Either way! Draw or write about your villager eating lunch with Shuttle. Shuttle finally catches sight of the monkey assistant Sparrow told them about… And another… And another… Did he clone himself??? There's got to be like 20 of them running around! CATCH THOSE CLONES!! … Or just watch uselessly, I can't tell you what to do… Draw or write about this. Rocket Rocket wanders up to you and begins sniffing at you (and your familiar) if applicable. They seem friendly enough? They definitely belong to someone else. Draw or write about your villager reacting to Rocket. Rocket seems to catch wind of something. Their eyes begin flashing red and blue and they give off a siren-like howl as they bolt off into the distance! Draw or write about your villager in this scenario. Whether you give chase or not, later you find Rocket, now at a larger size than before, chasing down an equally large uncollared pitch black fox familiar… AND THEY'RE COMING RIGHT TOWARDS YOU! Draw or write about this scenario. Rocket tackles the fox to the ground… There's a scuffle! Do you help Rocket? The fox? Do you just sit and watch as two grandiose familiars battle each other in front of you? Draw or write about your villager in this scenario. Regardless of which way the fight was going, a hoard of wild Flint Sprockets run past and the fox abandons their battle with Rocket to give chase. Draw or write about your villager in this scenario.Flint Flint has been lurking in the shadows, seemingly hiding from something. Draw or write about your villager reacting to this. You talk to Flint and he assures you that he's definitely not in any legal trouble whatsoever but he thinks that new witch is definitely after him… Also Sparrow's cleaning today and he really didn't want to do that… He has a great idea though! Maybe he could hide out with you for the day? Draw or Write about your villager talking to Flint. Whether you wanted to or not, you're now helping Flint hide! Congrats! He's hanging out with you and rambling about something… Do you care? Did you want to be his personal meat shield? Something else? Draw or write about this scenario. Man, it sure feels like it's time for lunch… At least that's what Flint thinks, and he is absolutely pestering you to get food with him. Do you get lunch with Flint? Tell him to go get it himself (He won't)? Something else? Draw or write about this scenario. Oh hey! The new witch is approaching! Before you have a chance to react in any way, Flint panics and shoves you towards Shuttle before booking it… And suddenly you also realize there happens to be a lot more than one Flint around… Did he clone himself?? Either way- Do you give chase? Apologize? Something else? Regardless, Shuttle is chasing after all… like… 20 of these Flints that are all running away from them. Draw or write about this scenario.Sparrow Sparrow is requesting assistance, it seems that Flint has vanished on her for the day… It was supposed to be fall cleaning day. Draw or write about your villager helping Sparrow clean up her cottage. With your help, Sparrow's cottage is looking nice and neat in no time! Sparrow appreciates your help and asks, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, if you'd help her with some other tasks Flint was supposed to help her with as well? You accept (Free will is an illusion) and Sparrow has you help her take care of her garden just outside. It looks like it's been dug in by familiars and trampled by raiders… Poor things… Draw or write about your villager helping Sparrow with her garden. After gardening, it's time for a break! Sparrow has made some delicious soup for lunch and encourages you to have some… Would you like some tea? Some fresh bread to dip in your soup? Anything at all (within reason)? Draw or write about your villager having lunch with Sparrow. Knock knock knock! Who's at the door? Sparrow answers and it's Shuttle! Do you know who that even is? Sparrow sure doesn't. Shuttle asks to speak with her in private and they head outside to discuss… whatever they need to discuss. Do you wait patiently for Sparrow to return? Listen in on the conversation from the other side of the door? Eat more soup? Draw or write about your villager waiting for Sparrow and Shuttle to be done talking. Sparrow returns and assures you everything's fine… Probably! She's decided that it's time to call it quits for the day and asks if you'd like to play a game with her… She and Flint tend to play a kart-racing game after a long day of work, but she has plenty of digital and physical games to choose from. Draw or write about your villager playing a game and unwinding (or getting riled up? Are you winning? Losing?) with Sparrow.NeutralWow, a new witch in Lilypad Town and Flint being sus as heck! … Anyways… You were headed to the Cafe for some chill you-time, weren't you? Draw or write about your villager going to and/or at the cafe. (This can be any cafe, if you want to use a member-made cafe, we won't stop you.) Man, that was a good Cafe trip! Now it's time to head to the store to do some shopping! Draw or write about your villager shopping! Are they getting groceries? Clothing? Something else? Draw or write about this scenario. Now that you've done some shopping, you decide you should maybe do some other activity! There's plenty to do around here, pick something and have fun! Draw or write about your villager doing something fun. This is essentially a wild card prompt as long as your villager enjoys it. That was fun! … Oh shoot didn't you have somewhere to be?! Better hurry! Draw or write about your villager rushing to or at a prior engagement that they may or may not have forgotten about. Phew… What a long day! Time to head home! Draw or write about your villager going home or at home after their long day of running around.
