wohoe my first written tutorial
.already did a chat tutorial but this needed more work xD.
I needed some starter position of trans 1 and 2 that was visually apealling yet with round numbers and such.
normally i would just start rotating and dragging around xD.
I hope you enjoy doing the tutorial and hoping to see some loonies
have fun
EDIT: forgot to mention the MAIN IDEA is dragging around the xforms 1 and 2 and rotating them. i thought i had it typed there but its gone -.-

Very fun. Question, how did you manage tiling with Whorl?

on the aquatic aqua thing? well i was tilin a whorl not with whorl. the difference is that with whorl your whorl will be the copier (you can do that since whorl is linear). when tiling a whorl first make a sphere and a whorl xform then you will need 2 new xforms. xfrom 3 has from 1,2 rest 0 and to xform 4 and rest 0. xform 4 has from 3,4 rest zero and to 4 and the sphere (transform 1 i guess).

go to edit press copy then go to DA notes send note to me and in the text box put your cursor and press control + v.
there will be all kinds of text characters there starting with
i can put them on clipboard (copy them) and paste them in apo by just opening apo window and press control v again.
its simple and very cool feature

hi, cheers for that! I've been trying to follow your tut again as I like it but I've not managed to come anywhere near replicating what you've done, I've followed the tut to the letter with absolutely zero outcome!

yes, set to "from" on 3, both 1 and 2 set to 0. and 2 linked from 1. I'n all confused but will keep trying!

no from 3 for 1 to 0 and for 2 still 1... then on 3 to 1 = 1 and to 2 is 0
[link] is a picture how "chains" or linked xforms work in general.
also you can check the params i've send and just copy that xaos (just have 2 windows of apo open will work best
dont be ashamed you dont understand xaos that well cause its rather complicated at first (took me a very while until i entirely understood)
