The only reason why this piece exists is because I happened to have had an etch a sketch on me on my train ride home yesterday, and my wallet contains this yoshi.I finished the layout on the train, and rendered the shading when I returned to my apartment. I would have uploaded it last night, but it's best to take photos of etch-a-sketch work in the natural sunlight.
I spent roughly an hour and a half on this one. I thought of adding a background, but I really liked the simple composition and didn't want to make it too busy.

EDIT (3/10/17): changed the main pic after using photoshop to remove a sticker that was on it! Looks a lot better now
