Description
I learned about Mario by playing Super Mario 1-3 on the NES when I was 4. I still play it on my NES.I love Mario. The franchise has always brought me such happiness as a child, and given me countless hours of entertainment. To this day I am still a nintendoholic.
I felt like I was overdue for a proper tribute to this wonderful video gaming icon.
Done on a pocket etchasketch, took roughly 1 hour. My attempt at making it completely centered failed...ah well.

do you write your signature better by hand or by etch a sketch? your etch a sketch creations are fantastic

I write it better by hand. Between you and me, I always hated how I wrote the last letter of my last name on an etch a sketch. I find that writing a signature on paper has more of a fluidity and spontaneity to it that I can't capture as well on an etch a sketch. When I write the h in my last name on paper, it always has a more aesthetically pleasing curve to it, and I've struggled to capture that same kind of curve on an etch a sketch.
Thanks for the interesting question! I've been asked a lot of questions pertaining to my etch a sketch art before but never that one.

well, I have been using the etch-a-sketch as a median for quite a few years now. I have a lot of practice under my belt.

Do you buy a new etch a sketch after every drawing and save the ones youve made or just take a picture of them and reuse it?

I tend to keep a lot of images on my etch a sketches, because I don't want to part with them yet. But with others, like this one, I erase and start a new one.

If you look at the rest of my gallery, you will see that my work is actually done on an etch a sketch. If you'd like, I can always send you other pictures that I have of it, but the etch a sketch itself has since been erased

Haha well explaining how to exactly draw mario on an etch a sketch is actually more difficult for me to do than actually doing it. But I can say this; I started drawing on an etch a sketch when I was 4, and I played with it so much that I got really comfortable with the mechanics of it, so that I no longer had to put thought into which knob went which way. So since then I have been playing with it, and my skills on the etch a sketch grew with my drawing skills.

i start drawing something (on a peice of paper or etch a sketch)
and i fail and dont draw for like 2 or 3 week l8r.
my parents just keep saying dont give up.

thank you, but I think he is too deep into the dark side. he had a ds, but as soon as he got his psp he banished the ds to a dusty box.
