Description

Few days go by and Sparkle realized that Leon actually followed them. Hidden, but she could tell he was there. Despite him being a bit suspicious at first, Sparkle decided to finally talk to him. The others were out on their own, gathering food and enjoying the region. They made it to the Rusturf Tunnel, and they were nearby Verdanturf Town. Sparkle felt a bit nervous walking up to him. He was standing on a hillside, staring down at the small town in the distance. Sparkle took a deep breath, and try to crack off a joke.

“So, do I need to contact the police or something for stalking me for four days?” Sparkle scoffed.

Leon turned and grinned. “If you must, then yes. But I was merely following, since I want to get to know you.”

Sparkle folded her arms, and was a bit skeptical. “And why’s that? You must say that all the time to every girl ya see.”

“Only ones that catch my eye.” Leon said, smoothly. “Which that isn’t very often. Trust me.”

Sparkle tilted her head. “How can I trust you, when I don’t know you?”

Leon blinked. “True, so how about we get to know each then. By telling me your name?” Leon grinned.

“Well, I thought you heard my friend, but I’m Sparkle.” Sparkle answered, feeling her heart beating again. What is this feeling?......It’s so weird…..

“Sparkle….” Leon repeat, “Cute name.”

Sparkle just flicked her ears in response.

“What’s the matter, Meowth got your tongue?” Leon asked.

“Nope, just wondering what you want.” Sparkle told him, boldly.

“Nothing.” Leon looked a bit surprised. “I can’t compliment what’s true. I think it’s really a cute name. It makes me wonder why you were called Sparkle. I take it you’re not a Shiny, so you don’t really sparkle do you? There must be a reason, and I’m a bit curious.”

Sparkle was hesitant, but she decided to relax and try to be nice. Despite him being suspicious, she had to admit he was a bit charming. Even with him all torn up. “I’ll answer that, if you tell me what happened with yourself.”

“Oh these old wounds?” Leon looked at his tail and touched his ears. “They’re old from old fights back then. Old scars, not really something I talk about. Crazy kid back then. Had to be disciplined a lot.”

“Oh.” Sparkle was speechless, a bit stunned as well. “Well…uh….guess the past is in the past then….eh?”

“Yup, I learned my mistakes and now I’m trying to better myself.” Leon said proudly.

“Well, I wish you luck on that.” Sparkle nodded once. “My name is just from my parents thought after some ancestor of mine.” Sparkle shrugged the answer, she didn’t really want to tell him the truth of her name, just bits of the truth. She wanted to get to know him better before she told some secretive things about herself. “Nothing big really.”

“Oh I see.” Leon flicked his ear. “So are you from Hoenn?” Leon suddenly asked out of the blue. “I don’t think I ever saw you before.”

Sparkle’s heart thumped against her chest. She didn’t know why she felt so nervous around him. “No, I’m from Kanto. However, I lost my trainer in Sinnoh…..So came here with a few friends I met….” She didn’t dare to talk about her trainer and she knew that he would ask, so she asked something before he could open his mouth. “What about you? You from Hoenn?!”

Leon looked a bit shocked by the rash question, but he answered anyway. “Yes, I grew up in the Sarfari Zone before I started to travel to better myself. That was a few years ago actually. Now about your-”

“If you’re going to ask about my trainer, better keep the mouth shut.” Sparkle warned him. “I don’t ever talk about it to no one!”

She noticed Leon flinched and shut his mouth. Sparkle just scoffed and folded her arms.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to be a burden.” Leon dipped his head in shame. “I’ll change the subject.” He looked up at Sparkle. “I would like to get to know you better, if you don’t mind. I’m not really heading anywhere. Would you mind if I tag along with your group for awhile? You seem like you’re lonely. I wouldn’t blame you since you’re pretty much a third wheel. Or a fifth in your case.”

Sparkle tilted her head, thinking. Should I really trust him? I mean, he said he wanted to get to know one another. He really is a bold one. I’m not really sure my friends would trust some random guy who just came out of nowhere without wanting something. Stara seemed like she was worried. However Stara is always worried. So maybe it’s no big deal. It would be nice to hang around someone when the others are with each other. I mean, Lilly has Derrick and Stara has Midnight. I have no one to really talk to. Unless the girls just want to hang out, which we don’t do that often. I’ll talk to them and see what they say. I just wish my heart would stop beating so fast.

“Well, I would have to see what my friends say. But I don’t really mind.”

Leon smiled. “That’s fine by me. And if I can’t. I’ll just keep on following you.”

Sparkle could tell he was joking, so she put a fake smile on. Her heart began to race again. She was both excited and nervous. For once she would have someone to talk to when the others weren’t around. However, she felt nervous about him. She was hoping it was because she just met him and she was still a bit skeptical about him. And all that needed to happen was to get to know him.

Little did she know that later, it would be a long and hard road ahead of her in her future.

Well, here ya go, I finally got over my writer's block (Only 3-5 were blocked) So yeah, so far I got under 10 parts, but that included skipping time alot, but yet not much happened with Sparkle and Leon. It was a neutral relationship more or less. Everything was fine until the break up. So not much happens during the time, until she gets Eevly's egg, but yup.
