Description This is a tutorial I told =tsukinohoshi I would make.
It is VERY BASIC. I cannot stress that enough. It is not meant to look good or detailed, it's to help her, and indeed anyone else who uses it, to grasp the basics of drawing a face in the anime/ mangaish style.

These are the steps I used when teaching my ten year old cousin to draw basic anime style faces.
And she could do it.

It's a really good tutorial.)

Feedback very much appreciated.

hehe i sorta am not sure how. I'm studying my books I have and although I have the position down, when the face changes it's confusing. For instance the profile view, I suck at it and I hate drawing the profile face.

I suck at that. It takes a lot practice to get profile right.

When you say study, do you mean looking at the drawings or attempting to copy them?

Aww yeah, that good. So long as you do draw them to practice.

thank you :3

I'm starting to get the basics. In my way I place the eyes half way on the middle line going across the face. With this tutorial, when I start to draw the adults the eyes above the line to make them appear smaller so that the adults look like adults. :3

This is totally helpful and I'm greatful that you took the time out to help me out. I'm thinking about making a thank you journal for those who are helping. :3

You're welcome.

The eyes shouldnt be more that a quarter of the size of the face. Unless you are drawing a chibi.

I'm really glad you think its helpful.
And thats a really nice idea. ^^
