Description
The forth member of my Sternguard Squad carrying a Longbow Class Boltgun. The Longbow Boltgun is a modified bolter with an extended, heavier barrel. It has a lower rate of fire compared to standard bolters but has greatly increased accuracy. It is usually used with a scope and allows marines to better fulfill marksman and counter-sniper roles.

The bolter was something I came up with whilst chopping up a load of spares I had trying to think of something cool. It was a simple idea so I figured I would use it. It is just two bolter glues together really, with a little liquid green stuff to hide the seam. The stock came from a spare sniper rifle I had. I decided to make him crouch because marines can't actually hold weapons with stocks because their shoulder pads are so big. The weapon looked odd without it so this seemed like the best way to keep it complete.

So now I've got two devastators and two standard Sternguards. I might make the next one resemble a squad leader just so I can call the five of them a unit, but there are still plenty more to come. I do need to get hold of some more non-standard helmets though.
