Chapter 3! Yay!
Not much happening (as always) but now we finally got our first teammate and the adventure can start for real! Oh my God I've been waiting for ages to draw this, the beginning part in Hoenn is so long and annoying and aaargh! But anyway, meet Yin, my cute little baby and I know Wurmple is pretty underwhelming, but don't you dare touching my precious! Or I'll kill you!
And yep, that's how I intend introducing the rule of first catch, and I'm sorry if the quality of that part isn't the best, blame my shitty scanner, not me :T And yes, the pokemon Vera mentioned are the ones I would have loved to have on my team, so you can already guess how many of them I found :v

The beginning part in Hoenn is excruciatingly long indeed, but I love that you drew it all out in such a detailed and loving way. Having a steady pace right from the beginning really helps with the immersion.
Yeah sorry, the voice works well for a Mudkip so it sticks.
And now I can't wait to find out why Landon feels so strongly about the first encounter rule. Will it be revealed soon-ish or much later? ouo

thank you, and i'm glad that that part has finally gotten to an end, but before we can talk about real beginning, there's still the whole petalburg city part. why, oh god, why?
but i'm glad that i got to build up atmosphere right at the beginning (that's important because this comic is gonna be long, oh god so freakin long...)

mmh... hard to say, some more "superficial" reasons will be revealed in a few updates, but some more heavy and plot related reasons come much later on (first encounter rule is only one piece of a whole, my dear~)

And then you have to go through the forest and then you have to save Peeko and meet Mr Stone and then you have to deliver the letter and then you finally got further than 80% of all Hoenn Nuzlockes. ouo
A long Nuzlocke is usually a good Nuzlocke! It's okay, I won't get out of this below 100 pages either.

that's awkwardly true actually :T so many of the hoenn nuzlockes i had begun stopped at that very spot (or maybe they made it till slateport and stopped there before the next plot point) it's a shame because after all of that the story actually starts to get interesting 
100-200 and 3 years. that's the limit i give to myself. till i'm over with school (this will never end D: )

Yes man I love that route with the cycling path up in the air and Verdanturf and the route with the volcanic ash and the way to Fortree City. Those are literally all the things I like about Hoenn (the rest can be just go be covered in magma or sea if you ask me
School or the comic? I am qualified to tell you that school does end. With comics, I'm not sure. ouo

hoenn has many places worth remembering, and the whole way from fortree to lilycove city is my favourite part of every pokemon game. why do the best places have to come AFTER all that endless beginning (maybe that's what team magma and aqua were really trying to do xD)
i know school ends. IN * GODDAMN YEARS. why? DD: (but there i meant school, i already know how my nuzlocke ends-when it will end is another thing- but school? maybe i die before i end school, and then my whole life will have been a waste *even though it already is*:v)

thank you, it felt natural to me, and it's also a way of showing how important all of this is actually for landon, but more of that later ;3~
bug types is my second favourite type, till gen 5 they were so underrated but i had a butterfree in every single playthrough, way before i knew they're actually weak, but you know what? that thing sure kicked asses! (and i remember lenny too. actually, i lost my own awesome leavanny yesterday during my latest white nuzlocke. it was killed in celestial tower by a stupid level 30 litwick. and leavanny was 7 levels higher. rip sango, lv 16-37 ;w; )

really? (i'm afraid of spiders. like hell. and of course every day i find at least 2 spiders crawling out of my closet or in my bathroom. they hate me and they know that) then i shall make you love bugs with yin!

OMG. Dood. That reminds me of the most terrifying thing that happened to me the other day.....
I was hanging out at my brother's place, and out of NOWHERE, a TARANTULA decided to march right up to me and take a seat on my thigh. A TARANTULA. WHERE THE HELL DID A TARANTULA COME FROM??? I freaked out, murdered him in cold blood, and hid in my room for like, three days. xD
I'll have to hold ya to that on Yin. I do kinda have a soft spot for caterpillars, cause they're so chubby and harmless. (Fun spoiler, I have a fable about caterpillars coming up at some point in (R)Evolve...) I'm mostly just afraid of fast moving bugs, because they're unpredictable.
......And tarantulas. xD They're slow, but holy shit, are they scary.

omg you're so brave. if i saw a tarantula (and thanx goodness i live in one part of the world where those horrible creatures are NOT wild) i would freeze and die at the very spot. or i would jump from a window/door/toilet or whatever is closest to me. no, seriously, spiders are my nightmare.

really rather enjoy this approach in implementing the nuzlocke rules, it really helps show why nuzlockes became a thing, normally without such rules you would only pick out and catch specific pokemon. some really great jokes on this one, I loved loved the intro with the song bit. Β like how she bounces it right back at him with the whole zizagoon thing, now I hope you get 5 zizagoon on the team XD. oh ho, a wurmple, very nice, and it's a nice change to see the wurmple legs drawn more like caterpillar legs instead of big bulgy circles

yeah, i didn't want to start the run with the rules already part of the game set, if you understand what i mean. i want to introduce them in a more subtle way, and i'm glad that you like it^^
i don't even remember where i heard that song, but as soon as i found it i knew i had to do that. and i don't regret it xD
