Thanks. Did this a while back so I can't totally remember what was going on in the combination of my life and in the world at large plus what I was feeling/pissed off about, but it's art so it's all subject to the mind of the observer. 'Preciate the comment!

Nah, he was neither a Republican nor a Democrat. Just a Fascistic populist, opportunist and monster.
Though I am just wondering... And it's got nothing to do with this great piece of work but why does it seem like dA is obsessed with Hitler and the Third Reich? Seriously, Nazis are so fucking overrated, why not the fanatical Shinto imperialists of the Far East fanatically crying out "Tennou Hekai Banzai!!!" like the Muslim jihadists do these days?

It always make me laugh when people from what you call the "Republican" party call people from the "Democrat" party "fascists", while technically, "Republicans" are far closer to fascist ideology on many many Β points than any other "American" party, well, except these neo-nazis parties (illegal in a lot of European countries, mine included, for information) I mean.

Couldn't agree more. Any political party that makes claims that homosexuality is inherently evil, abortion is murder and executing human beings is not, and that the creator of the universe is on their side with all of this, make it pretty goddamn obvious that they are war-mongering fascists who want nothing more than to be in power ... quite like the National Socialist Party, a.k.a. the fucking Nazis.Β

Homosexuality and abortion were against the law in the US, the UK and the USSR during -and well after- the Second World War, so are you saying the Nazis were defeated by fellow Nazis? Abortion of the unhealthy was actually encouraged in Nazi Germany. This is the opposite of the pro-life position of US Republican Christians. Abortion is a form of murder, and it is one the Nazis practised.Β

It's an allegory first, and everyone reads into it what they will. However, to your point, how is executing ANYONE, including other murders, pro-life? Secondly, abortion is the only thing you mentioned. I deduce this means you do believe that homosexuality is inherently evil and that the god who says so is on your political party's side?

It's murder to kill someone when they have not committed a capital offence. The rationale of executing fully-grown murderers is to deter murder, so it is ultimately pro-life, one could argue. Not that opposition for abortion implies support for the death penalty, but is it more liberal and enlightened to kill babies while sparing the lives of adult murders?Β
My pointing out that nations allied against Nazi Germany also banned homosexuality was just a historical fact. I have no idea what party God supports. Even if he exists I don't think he's is eligible to vote in human elections, so it's a moot point. And I have no idea what he thinks of homosexuality, if he's bothered. My hunch is that the future of civilization in general depends more on heterosexuals who don't have abortions...

Neat. The GOP is ADMITTEDLY believes itself the party of "family values" and "Christianity", by in large. They spew hatred toward those who do not believe exactly the way they do on all matters. I know their are decent Republicans who are objective, and they are seemingly the minority. They oppose gay marriage, as if that's even fucking important. Is abortion all you have?

I don't support Obama, either. Your assumption that I do demonstrates your ignorance. I have contempt for all religion, but I spent nearly thirty years of my life as a Pentecostal fundamentalist Christian as well as attend seminary; it's what I know.
That said, to quote Sam Harris, "Liberals tend to understand that a person can be lucky or unlucky in all matters relevant to his success. Conservatives, however, often make a religious fetish out of individualism. Many seem to have absolutely no awareness of how fortunate one must be to succeed at anything in life, no matter how hard one works. One must be lucky to be 'able to work.' One must be lucky to be intelligent, physically healthy, and not bankrupted in middle age by the illness of a spouse."Β
Conservatism can fuck a goat.
