NOTE- Moved to Scraps.At this point, I think everyone has seen these photos of the Walmart posters and/or they've been recreated and reposted to the moon and beyond. These posters are NOT my work, I claim no ownership, copywrite, or responsibility. They're just amature photos of awesome, amazing, absolutely incredible posters. my goal was just to give everyone a chance to see and enjoy them.
The other three beautiful posters were designed by AllSpark Forums user Nayuki-[link] This map, however, was designed by some other extremely talented and wholly awesome artist! If I find out who it is, I will post the info here.

It's awesome to have an official map because now if you want to make a map (or fanfic) with additional lands you don't have to worry about accidentally using ideas from someone elses.

Just letting you know, Imgur destroys the image quality, so it isn't as hi-res as it could be. Perhaps Mediafire or Filesmelt would work better.

"Distance not to scale." LOL No kidding. Otherwise, Ponyville would be roughly five minutes from Canterlot, meaning that the train that goes there would move at about ten feet per hour.
Anyway, gigantic props to Hasbro and whoever drew this map for officially bringing us the awesome.

It sure seems like it, but then there'd be no point in them taking a train to get there. That's why either a) it's way the hell farther than it looks, or b) that train is the slowest train in the history of ever.
