Description
The first of a few tutorials on my all-time favourite art program, Open Canvas 1.1.This is the boring technical, starting-out tutorial designed for noobs or people who don't know the program very well. It's also a vast file. I hope it's not too patronising, and at least partially helpful.

It's very good in it's own small way. Muzzoid asked me to make a proper tutorial out of the notes I wrote up a www. polykarbon. com ages ago - I've only just gotten round to it. XD

i have to add in a couple of more hotkeys 
spacebar- canvas moving tool (9 on the toolbar)
b- brush tool
left shift- same as right click
