• ABILITY: Trace: Miranda's foe's ability (example: 'Blaze' in a foe that is a chimchar) becomes Miranda's ability for that time.
• MOVESET: Growl, Confusion, Double-Team, Teleport
• AGE: 16
• HEIGHT: She’s very tall, about 5”10 (fitting in to her desire to be a dancer and all)
When she was a ralts she was very short and one of her dreams was to be tall.
• PERSONALITY: Miranda is ambitious and energetic. Although sometimes she sets goals that may be a bit unrealistic she always strives to achieve them in any way possible. This can also be her own downfall. She tends to get impulsive, climbing the tallest tree in the yard only to realize she failed to come up with a plan to get down. This is one of the reasons why she gets hurt a lot.

Miranda also tends to get very jealous of other people. She gets self-obsessed in their achievements and popularity, aching to be like them. Miranda sometimes spies on other pokemon around the ranch, yearning for their so-called “perfect” lives. This makes her very observant however and she is usually the first to know if the donphan family had a new baby or the new pichu steals food from the ranch owner.
HISTORY:
Miranda the ralts was born on a ranch with her many sisters. From birth Miranda loved to move. She was one of the first of her siblings to start walking (somewhat). She was always up and about, which became a problem for her loving Gardevior mother. One moment Miranda was on the ground and next she was up in a tree, about to fall down. She loved to play games with her sisters such as tag. However despite her activeness she was very clumsy, constantly tripping over rocks, pesky plants or even other pokemon. This didn’t stop Miranda though, no matter how many times she was tagged or hurt she kept her spirits up.

One day a roserade, a friend’s pokemon of the ranch owner, came to visit. She boasted to Miranda and the other pokemon on the ranch of her numerous wins in beauty contests. After inquiry the roserade agreed to show her moves. She flawlessly danced across the field, doing twirls, spins all in a flurry of rose petals. It was spectacular. Miranda knew right then and there that she wanted to be a dancer.

All of Miranda’s sisters, however, shared the same dream as she did. Right after the roserade left they all proceeded copying the moves that she did so effortlessly. Although they all struggled none of them struggled more than Miranda. Since she was already uncoordinated dancing was foreign to her. She attempted to do a twirl but ended up flat on her face. She tried to make a leap but she tripped over her feet. It was like her lower body was possessed; doing everything exactly the opposite of what she wanted it to do. It greatly frustrated her.

Things didn’t help when all of Miranda’s sisters eventually evolved into kirlias whose feet were made for dancing. They soon were twirling across the ranch almost as good as the roserade. Miranda however was still a ralts and as clumsy as ever. She could kinda twirl and not trip over her feet as often but felt a great sadness whenever she saw her sisters achieving more than she did. She had to face it-her chubby ralts body couldn’t compare to that of the slim, elegant figure of a kirlia.

She tried everything to evolve somehow. She ate more food. She battled other pokemon. It didn’t work. Miranda grew older and older but stayed as a ralts. She grew depressed and didn’t move as much as she used to. She mostly stayed in the corner under the magost berry tree, drawing with a stick in the dirt.

The ranch owner soon grew concerned for Miranda. She was used to her active, pleasant nature but the fact that she now stayed in one place made her worry. She also wondered why Miranda wasn’t evolving like her other siblings. Through an ad in the paper she found information about Professor Fennel’s experiment. She decided to try it out. Maybe through Miranda’s dreams she could solve her problem and help her move on into the next stage of her life.
EXTRAS:
-Since Miranda was originally a ralts her hair is a short bob.
-In her dream form Miranda is graceful and elegant but her ralts self sometimes shines through and she trips over things.
-People find her hiding in the oddest of places.
-Although she wears frills Miranda is a tomboy at heart. She always has dirt on her dress and twigs in her hair from climbing in trees and hiding in holes.
-She greets her friends by popping out of nowhere with a friendly “Hiya!”
-Because of Miranda’s observant nature she is a source of gossip.
