Description
This is my 2nd and main entry to 's Return To Scrapworld Contest.Bio
Arachne is a reincarnation of The suffering It is unclear to the survivors what exactly happened but it is known that a more resilient mind took over The collective," transforming the male suffering into a female queen. Shortly afterward Arachne assumed control of all scrap zombies in scrap world. Any scrap being that has not broken free from the collective is under her control. Absorbing all six of the piraka gives her the abilities of each element and their powers which reside in each her legs. Like with the suffering, her consciousness resides through out her body by having more than one mind to transfer to. Arachne traded raw power for more speed and sharpened her mind beyond that of the suffering. Upon constructing herself she found roodaka's old body, liking it, she absorbed it and recreated it. Some say that it is Roodaka that took over the suffering, Some say that it was krikka seeing as how there are traces of him, but most survivors are skeptical.
Warning to all survivors Contact with Queen Arachne, while isn't automatically lethal should be avoided. Only toa or titan class survivors should approach Arachne. While dangerous, she is a valuable source of information, and alliances. Your death could mean the salvation of your village.
About the MOC I am submitting her as she is now because I wanted to get something in before the dead line, and will be heading out of town before the deadline. She's not done, but if this is what has to be judged for the contest so be it. The initial concept came from as ~MapleMaster puts it" staring too long at one piece," in this case, the toa Lhikan Mask from the Battle for Metru Nui play set. The bottom of her abdomen features the black Dume Mask from the Tower of Toa playset, then her thorax is built mostly off of the blue Thock mask from the Piraka strong hold set. The initial concept was to use these large masks somehow on a MOC. I'm happy with how those all got used. When I finish her I will add a lot more masks and other faces to really flesh out this "mask" theme. With her human body I took special care to make the color scheme consistent. As stated above it is a slightly modified and recolored Roodaka body. I also kept the back mandibles from the suffering. That was a very important element of the MOC to retain. This was a very tough MOC and I've still got a considerable amount to go if I want to finish her to satisfaction.
Update I added a little more armor to her legs, plus put a Lantern(Modified from ~wolfbossx 's version ) and "Matteo-nette" in her other. I made the puppet Matteo for no real reason, other than that's how it worked out as I built him. I wasn't able to get her to stand on her legs so I put makeshift stands under her to raise her body off the ground. This is my final version of her for this contest.
Thanks for Faving, commenting and what not.

Barrelex has you up on the docket for the contest did you make something for it? Cause the due date is the 30th but there's an extension, I don't know why he doesn't just make the actual due date the extension time.

Well I haven't seen what you did so i can't really say, but honestly...probably not. I had some stiff competition this round, hopefully I still pulled through though and will win.

Is it? It looks fine to me. Could it be your monitor or something? There's a lot of colors clashing and mingling together on this so that might be it to. But thanks Jake, you practically got to watch me build her. Yesterday I got to her head and at first I was really stumped. I knew I wanted the large part on her head, that was planned early on, but how to make a good spider-faced-woman was hard. I like what I did with this. Might say I stole this design from him or something.
I didn't I just happened to incorporate a rahkshi mask into her head design.

I haven't gotten any extra support on her legs. The nice thing is I don't think I'll have to uber support each leg. Decent support X 6 should be enough to hold this bitch up. Or I'll just make a stand for her like Aidan suggested. I thought about putting wheels on the bottom, kinda like a giant version of puki the crab from the 2003 sets. But I'm gonna at least shoot for making her able to actually stand.

Well there is a march 7th extension and while I'll be gone for the weekend, I'm coming back Monday. So I've got some time I guess. I think I had to use the extension last time to.

For me the Piraka spines were most eye catching.

Yes I really like those on there. The spins actually work to hold up part of the legs. But what's also cool is they're strong supports, yet flexible and unhindering the movement, rubber pieces are a MOCers best friend.

Sometimes I'm thinking about crossovers:
This would be amazing for the crossover of bionicle and monster hunter o.o
Just imagine a small toa is approaching this massive creature, simply epic xD

Yeah I want to do some cross over to. I've got a specific concept in mind for my cross over.
What makes you say this would be good for cross over?
Thanks Alex, When I get her standing I do want to do some size comparisons.

I don't really know why, but the idea just came up my mind as soon as I saw that gigantic creature. I've played only one Monster Hunter game, but I was reminded on it when I saw your MOC ^^"

Hmmm okay. Well to do bionicle/system crossover for anything would be cool. I want to do a rockmonster where its basically the rock parts are system, and its absorbed some bionicle elements, sorta like a frame. And one of its arms has a boom from like a crane. It would take a lot of small system brick pieces, either in brown or both gray's, which I don't have nearly enough of any to pull the concept off. I've never played any monster hunter games. I don't even know what that is.

Yeah you talked about such a crossover ones, I think ^^
Would be cool, but also difficult
Monster Hunter is this [link]
It's also the game I own myself, I'm mostly a portable console gamer ^^"

I probably have. Yes it'd be another technical challenge indeed. But I think I've proven my worth with those wouldn't you say?
That link wasn't very informative. I'm a console gamer. I don't like playing games on PC. I want a PS3 but I'm too poor to get one and they're too expensive to get as a gift for holidays or birth days.

Not informative? gamefaqs is the best site to get any information about a game you need, I think
What games are you playing?
And yeah, I think you good do such crossover. ^^
