While playing Echoes I always wanted to have Samus get the upper hand on Dark Samus. I also wanted to destroy that bitch once and for all. But she/it just keeps coming back! I hope we finally get this Phazom thing cleared up in the next game. Until then enjoy my take on an upgrade to Samus’ armor. This way she could use the Hyper Beam all the time.I did this one all in the computer. I found out I don’t like that. At least the line art part.

Amazing concept; really like the detail. I've never played any of the Metroid games myself, but I've read alot of info online about lil' Sammie. XD Still, if this were a suit upgrade, I'd reconsider playing it.

It's funny- in Metroid Prime 3, they released a suit that lets you use hyper beam anytime.

Awesome suit design. Just a suggestions but what would really be cool is if you could see little streaks of energy running through her suit, so it looks like she has that Hyper/Phazon energy powering her suit.

Well.. she's gotta destroy Dark Samus off in order to make the time-line work right. And if Dark Samus is Metroid Prime (and this is the last game in Metroid Prime Series), I'd say this is the last game before you kill it's evil ass..
and dont you find it ironic that Samus got the Phazon suit by stealing the big Phazon dude's energy, and then Dark Samus was made when Metroid Prime stole Samus's suit? It's like a trade-off with everybody in this game..
And Dark Samus should have the upper-hand because she stole Samus's upgrade, which caused Samus to go back to Varia-Style.. So Samus was shafted throughout Prime 2.. (so let's hope her new suit lets you get Corrupted enough to whoop some asssss.. )

Yes.. Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo is plotted to happen right after the Prime series, so since Dark Samus wasnt in Super Metroid, she had to die in Prime 3. Which she did.

Well I think that all makes sense. I hope they start a new series after prime with a new theme. I would hate to see the best first person shooter disappear from the market.

Nah.. they Haaave to do some kind of side series or something.. there's no way Nintendo would drop a franchise that makes them big bucks. That'd be like Nintendo announcing that there'll be no more Legend of Zeldas.. (which, at this point might be logical cause they've really exploited just about everything they can do in Hyrule)..
Hopefully they'll try to continue on with her adventures after Fusion, cause the timeline just kind of stops there. I think they did that on purpose. You know, making it to where she cant get out of her suit anymore because of the X virus? I think Nintendo is going back to "family values"-ness and kid-safe games and dropping any character that focuses on Busts and extremely hot bikini models. So, they make it to where she cant take off her suit anymore, and suddenly the series is going to start focusing on her mega-role as a bounty hunter instead of her ass and triple-D figurine.
Does this spell "No more bikini shots" for quick game completions?
..and they really screwed themselves over making a game to get rid of all Metroids.. cause now they cant make a game called "Metroid" if the species is extinct.. Maybe they'll start calling it "Samus"?

Well, I know they will never get rid of Zelda. Thats a given. I really don't think that Nintendo is going kid safe with their games. If anything they are starting to pull away from that to attract an older crowd. Plus, Samus can get out of her suit. The scientists were just unable to get it off of her while she was unconscious. And we don't necessarily need metroids to name the game Metroid. Look at Metroid: Hunters. There weren't any in that game.

Yeah, but it's still wedged inbetween Primes and Super Metroid (i believe) on the timescale, so technically metroids did still exist somewhere in the universe.. but that's going a little extreme. And yes, they never will get rid of Zelda, even if it is extremely overused material.. And speaking of Non-kid games Nintendo has made recently, have you played Star Fox Assault? (i think that's the game), but anyways, i was expecting a nicer game with a lot better graphics than Star Fox 64. Graphics, yes. Better game, no. It was too stupid.. It was like i could feel my IQ dropping with how dumb the characters acted.. It must've been like a game that was designed for a child to pick up at any point in the game and connect with.
But anyways, it seems like everywhere, every game i've been playing has the same kid-like fundamentals.. Like the Wind Waker for example, i know it's an unexplored area of game play to see how emotional you can show your character, but not Link! He's a character that's meant to be dark and serious and strong and always ready to take action.. Link in that game was expected to run into a wall and be like "Blaaaaaaaah" with stars dancing around his head.. NO WAY.
But i do give kudos to Twilight Princess. They resurfaced a little bit in my opinion when they made that game. Long have we been awaiting a game of the type!

They probably are going to continue with the wind waker Link for the younger crowd and take the Link from Twilight, or one like him, and use that for the older crowd. Now, about Link being a bad-ass, I really don't think that is what he is all about. He is supposed to confident but not too serious. The Twilight Link was a good example of what Link should be. I still would like him to be voiced one of these days but ya can't have everything ya want.
Oh and Star Fox Assault was okay but I thought Star Fox: Dinosaur Planet was better. Its too bad Rare couldn't produce games fast enough.
