I am going to have to try out your method sometime, I certainly need the practice.
I'm assuming that you use a similar method for bushes yeah? Cause that's another one I have a hard time with~

Hi! I'm having a little problem with the first few steps. I can't get the kind of thing you have. It ends up looking like it's been drawn by a 5 year old. Do I make lots of tiny little brush strokes, or is the brush settings supposed to make it work continuously, with one brush stroke? If it's lots of tiny brush strokes, then could you give me some tips, and if it's a single brush stroke I definitely have some settings wrong. Could you (or someone!) help?

In case someone else hasn't caught it yet: step six says "truck" instead of trunk.
Nicely done.

Oh dear me, definately the best tree painting tutorial out there. I am so bad with backgrounds, hence I never bother with them. Then again with your tutorial I might want to try again, so thank you!

Wonderful tutorial. My thanks! For some reason, I've always been horrible at rendering trees, and I think that this will help tremendously. It's never the shape that bothered me, it was finding a decent method of getting the sticks and leaves to interact correctly.

Nice method and the method I have used. Now I can just point people here instead of explain. It also works for vines and creepers too.

Great technique but I think this is for people who use tablets. Do you use a tablet? I use a mouse.

Yes, this is definitely done with a tablet, I added that to the artist comment since I think it was easy to miss in the instructions.
However, It's definitely doable with a mouse! It's just going to take more time and effort.
