That's great, I absolutely love her face and her movement. It's very hard to draw that.
Amazing work, the place is beautiful too.

Judging by all of your gorgeous paintings and drawings, I'd say you love motion as much as I do. Stunning!
You can really capture a moment, a mere second, much better than many famous artists. I think it's one of the greater challenges in the world of art, but I think you succed!

The BG is beau~tiful. *o* You know how sometimes something looks so intense you can feel it in your eyes? It does that to me. It's because of all the lines, and the contrast. I also love the girl's hair, and the composition. Your lighting is just wonderful.

The movement here is exquisite. It's amazing how well you captured all the details of her hair, her body and her clothing. I think the structured background really helps build the tension in the piece, constrating with the willy-nilly feel of the figure. Beautiful work.

This reminds me of a scene from a book by Mercedes Lacky. The background was well worth the effort.

Wow. This has been one of my favourite images for a few years now. I've had it in my images folder and not known where its come from.
I just saw your deviation -- Blind -- in someones favourites, and immediately recognised the style.
God I love this image. Its amazing.

Reminds me very much of a section in "Notre Dame de Paris" by Victor Hugo where Claude Frollo sees Esmerelda in a white nun's gown and thinks he's seen a ghost because last he heard, she'd been hanged. Excellent work!

This is truely awesome man.. great work. ANd I can imagine the pain it was to do that awesome background... and especially get the effect you were going for. Speaking of effects.. you said you wanted to get her to whip around with shock.. should you not of make the eyes a little more.. like.. bigger..... you know as the eyes open further.. to give the look of caught off guard.. and shock.
Ah.. You kick so much ass man. Good job.

i looked at this, and literally, my jaw dropped. the background is definitley absolutley amazing. hehe, the doors sort of look like they belong in a school or something, but other than that, i love it. i don't know if it's shock ass much as she's turning around, waiting for someone. the hand looks like she's about to reach out, and there's someone behind her that she's telling to catch up because they're trying to escape from a creepy castle. but i tend t make up my own stories. sorry.

Was this from scratch or from a reference photo? The reason why I'm asking is because I've seen this before... this has been drawn in charcoal. I saw it in an art show about a year ago.
