My first attempts with this technique. I used the tutorial by sjfinearts but will modify now to incorporate more colour like yours.

You mention using detergent. How much did you use and when did you add it? THanks

I only added roughly half a teaspoon (Just a small dollop really) of detergent, and I put it in the glass of water before putting the oil in, although I'm not too sure if it makes much of a difference if it goes in before or after the oil!
